Black Hawk Motel and Suites

The staff goes above and beyond. The other guests have been coming year after year during the 4th of July weekend/week and are very respectful and pleasant. The hot tub in our suite was new or newer and worked very well after full days out and about.

Very clean motel. We were asked daily if we needed anything extra for our room. We were able to use the grill both days. Indoor and outdoor pool were both very nice. We stayed in the queen delux and it was very spacious, one thing we liked it had a lot of counter space and outlets. Definitely coming back!

El motel goza de una excelente ubicación. La habitación parecía estar bien mantenida en general, a pesar de algunos pequeños desperfectos. Las zonas comunes estaban bien y nos dieron entradas de cortesía para atracciones locales, que sin duda aprovechamos y que enriquecieron nuestra visita a Wisconsin Dells. Agradecimos que la recepcionista nos atendiera en español. En general, fue una buena experiencia. Sin embargo, la limpieza de la habitación, especialmente del baño, podría mejorarse y el aire acondicionado no funcionaba correctamente. El ruido exterior era bastante audible por la noche y la cama no era tan cómoda como esperaba. Dicho esto, creo que es una excelente opción para estancias cortas.

Don’t stay at front of property, traffic was noisy.

This is one of if not the best motels in the Wisconsin Dells. It is a small , long time family owned business that’s is always polite and helpful. It is kept clean inside and out . A+++

I was pleasantly suprised. My little girl loved the heated swimming pools, it was clean, the rooms are very nice and we felt super safe! I will be making this my summer getaway with my little girl next year too!

I can’t say enough GOOD things about this hotel! If you enjoy the “Mom & Pop” motels…you really don’t want to miss this GEM! We try to stay at privately owned hotels vs corporate box chains and I don’t leave reviews unless there is something extraordinarily good or bad to share. I commended these owners in person and I’m compelled to share this small business excellence with you! My husband and I were so impressed - this was vintage done right! The entire hotel was meticulously maintained: the buildings and the PARKING LOT were freshly painted, top quality windows, thick siding, outdoor carpeted walkways, real outdoor furniture with tables outside every room, flowers everywhere, indoor/outdoor pools/spa looked clean and inviting. We stayed in their BUDGET room - it wasn’t big, but it didn’t matter bc it was mighty! The finishes were like you were in someone’s home. First off - it was PRISTINE! I was genuinely IMPRESSED at how clean it was. Not even a waterspot or smudge on any window, mirror, faucet or the bathtub. The construction seemed like it could have been Amish with QUALITY wood trimmed windows, bathroom vanity, wood framed mirrors. There were 2 large extra heavy duty windows in front, 2 upper windows in back, and a high quality STORM DOOR! Kitchen height wood bathroom vanity with granite. Quality toilet and a real shower/tub. Thick towels and a Cuisenart coffee maker! They paid attention to the details and it showed. We felt welcome and valued as customers. Thank you!

I love parking right by your door. The room door had 3 locks plus a locking screen door. We felt very safe and secure in our room. Love the old school key and keychain! The gentleman with black hair that works the front desk (so sorry I forgot his name!) was professional, friendly, and eager to help us. We took advantage of the free Timbavati and Haunted Mansion tickets. This is a great value. Black Hawk is a gem. We look forward to returning soon!

This was an excellent Motel to stay at. The outdoor piool was clean and perfect temperature. There was an indoor pool, hot tub, and a sauna!!!!: There was a nice grill near the pool. Our room was clean and large! Plenty of towels. We were there for 4 days, 3 nights and will definitely be going back!!!! Fantastic get away!!!!

Booked this hotel for a 2nd time for my aunt and uncles first time at the dells and they loved it. The pool is warm both indoor and outdoor & the tickets for the zoo were a major plus. Stay was clean and employees are always welcoming and quick with service.

I spent six nights at the Black Hawk Motel. I was impressed with how clean our room was and the staff is very friendly. The indoor pool was nice and warm. I would definitely stay here again in the near future. I also loved that it’s in walking distance to downtown. I highly recommend staying here!!!

Staff was friendly and attentive.

My two daughters and I normally stay in 5 star hotels when vacationing. This trip was a last minute getaway to Wisconsin Dells. I looked at different hotels in the area, but most of them were booked and/or slightly higher in cost for the dates we needed. Then I started looking at motels. There were many to choose from, but again we normally don't stay at motels. So, I am looking at all the reviews and one particular motel kept coming up with 4.8 to 5 star reviews. It was the Black Hawk Motel. We booked for a two night stay. The check in process was easy and the front desk staff were exceptional. The grounds are well kept and the rooms were cozy and very clean. We needed extra towels and pillows and the front desk staff had no problems accommodating us. That first night we had an issue with the guest right above us. Loud music, loud noises, it was like they were having a party right over our heads and it was after midnight. I called the front desk phone number and the owner Brad answered. I expressed my concerns and addressed the issue right away with any hesitation. This was beyond exceptional!! Brad and the rest of the staff exemplifies the meaning of great customer service and what it means to welcome in their guest like they are family. My family and I will definitely stay here again!

Wonderful place to stay. The room we had was very clean and comfortable. The staff was all helpful and very friendly. They have an indoor and outdoor pool which was great as the weather was warm and then cool. They have a laundromat on site, small playground, grills and a pinball arcade. Recommend to anyone with a family.

We’ve stayed here twice now and the last time was amazing. This stay was 90% great but our hottub got some weird black film in it the very last day. Not sure what happened but we showed the staff. Also getting out of the hottub there was a very sharp corner that cut my ankle open- I had to use butterfly bandages and wrap to get it to stop bleeding. It looked like that particular tub wasn’t rounded off correctly on the outside tiles. We would stay here again yes but they might need to look into maintenance and/or repairs. The staff was very helpful and nice.
