Extended Stay America Suites Newark Woodbridge

Im not sure what Smoke free means to the staff but I assume that it means that it shouldnt smell like an ashtray. The hallways smelled like an old folks home mixed with dog pee, weed, and ciggarettes. The room was well used. Room was well used to say the least. It was clean as the standards allowed. There was a corn nuts wrapper left on the window sill from the previous occupant. The toilet paper holder in the bathroom was falling off the walls. The bathtub drained so slow you had to be quick with the shower. The room only smelled like the hall way the closer you got to the kitchen. Personally Ive stayed in some sketchy no name hotels and none were as bad as this plsace. I think corporate needs to get involved and fix this place.

Good place to stay but the rooms are quite small so be aware of it.

Property is conveniently located on the New Jersey side and not too far from Newark airport. The property is old but the in room facilites like shower, toliet, fridge, microwave, AC or TV were working well. The value for money would be ok if the service offering would be a little improved. The property is sold as including breakfast which is a joke. There is no breakfast room, and the breakfast consist of a very small table at the reception with only coffee, small muffins, and theoretically oat meal. On two days there was not even oatmeal, the coffeee was empty and not refilled, and the "breakfast" consisted of small muffins for take away. Booking.com should not accept such property being sold as provinding breakfast, regrdaless of included or not. The person at the reception were constantly overwhelmed and not able to provide a minimum service. The rooms have a kitchen with absolutely zero equipment. there is no glass, cup, spoon ort anything in the room. It has to be ordered separately at the reception and it took 4 trips to the reception over 2 days to just get 2 cups, 2 plastic glasses, 2 plates and a set of uttlery and a small cokking pot (dirty)

The surrounding location is nice. Nice neighborhood. DIDNT RECIEVE A SKILLET AT ALL ! I STAYED 3 NIGHTS I WAS TOLD ID GET A CALL BACK AND I NEVER DID. I JUST WENT HOME GRABBED MY OWN POT AND PAN AND USED IT. VERY DUSTY DIRTY ROOMS

Tub had poor drainage. Grab & Go breakfast was only coffee and small muffin. Outdoor entry had no lock. Kitchen had zero supplies.

I was there for two nights and my TV did not work until I was checking out and going home so I was without TV for like like a day and a half
