Plenty of parking friendly staff

The outside of the property is clean and well maintained, but I was disappointed by how dirty the carpet in our room was. I understand the property is older and wear and tear happens, but the carpet was terrible. Obvious soil spots upon entry. I also noticed quite a bit of mildew in the bathroom along the caulked edges. We left too early for breakfast so can’t speak to that. Appreciated the dedicated pet area with bags and a picnic table in the shade. Check in was slow with one person at the counter, but smooth for the most part. I was told the room we got is often selected when booking through Hotels.com (144). The room has a stairway right in front of the door and lots of foot traffic to and from the pool area.

I’ll stay here the next time I am in the area.

Our room was clean but the carpet was still damp after what we assumed was a carpet cleaning. It made the room humid. I found the bed to be quite comfortable.

The rooms look way better on the website and person they are not good it’s like at motel 6 almost and out fridge was broken once we checked in it was leaking then they gave us a second room and that second room was dirty wasn’t even clean. The rooms need work done.

Room and grounds were clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. The only issue was from some of the remodeling, and the shower curtain needed to be lowered. Staff was notified in am and would follow up on it. Room was great, quiet. Breakfast was great, lots of choices and well stocked. Parking very convenient outside of room. I would definitely visit there again

Beds and pillows are one of the best comforts as usually they aren’t as soft and comfortable. Breakfast is pretty basic and minimal. Staff was friendly. The floors turned my childrens feet cso a deep clean or replace for vinyl floors would be ideal.

Unfortunately, we had not a good experience in this hotel. The night we arrived about 8 pm, there were bunch of people sitting on the parking lot drinking and smoking. The second night, this time 4-5 people were drinking in front of their door. The room we stayed was smelly. We open the window while we were sleeping but I didn’t feel safe because of the people in the parking lot. There was no face issue or sign for do not disturb. Since we didnt put any sign outside of the door, we thought the room will be freshened and toilet paper will be provided. When we requested toilet paper (by the way phone in the room doesnt work and I had to obtain the number from the web and use my cell to call) we were asked to go to the office to get it. In the mornings, we woke up with itchiness. I didn’t realize that it was just off the highway when I booked. So it was very noisy. We only stayed two nights to sleep. We were always out. The breakfast was really limited. The day we checked out, the breakfast was starting at 7 am. Since we wanted to leave by 7:30 am, i.e. checked out, we were at the breakfast area at 7:05 am. Breakfast wasn’t ready. We stayed at Woodland in another hotel and we liked the service in that hotel.

Nice room, elevator, ice machines, and good breakfast (eggs, waffles, toast, yogurt, juices, and coffee/tea). We had an outer room facing an exit ramp and train track that created a lot of noise. A room facing the inner court/pool would have been quieter.

Out of many Best Western stays, this one serves the worst breakfast. Overpriced.

The staff were amazing. They were helpful, courteous, and accommodating. The breakfast was also delicious. Best Western all around has the BEST waffles. It would be nice to have freshly brewed coffee but the coffee was also good. Clean room, good food, and excellent staff…. I would most definitely recommend Best Western Shadow Inn for a short or long stay.

Breakfast was good The fridge was leaking in the room and huge wet spot in front of it and I woke up to ice breaking off in the unit in middle of night. Had to walk up exterior stairs at night with heavy bags. The TV remote did not work (no volume) so no TV and the heater in the room was so loud you had to turn it off to sleep. Road noise from outside was loud. Pillows uncomfortable. Barely slept a wink. Also, took over 30 minutes waiting to check in because group in front of me had passports that got all confusing for clerk (not her fault).

This hotel has the very best breakfast I’ve encountered. I travel allot with 3 special need adults and that is very important. The rooms are all brand new and super clean. The whole place is going through a refit. But unless you drive around the back and see the materials you’d never know at all. Beautiful hotel clean and quiet.
