Motel 6 Wytheville, Va

I had a reservation a week in advance and when I got there there was room they sold my room for more money.

We reserved the room and drove for hours just to see an empty parking lot and them saying oh well we are full you need to get a refund then acted strange when I sat there and waited for my confirmation that my refund was on its way

Property was closed. Note on door to contact who you booked through for a refund. Don't waste your time trying to stay here.

We stayed one night with a dog, reserving a 2 queen bed room. We opened the room door to an overwhelming smell, which they said was Pine Sol. The room did not have queen beds, but has 2 double beds. We asked for another room and received a king bed room at same price. The smell was a bit more tolerable. Room needs a makeover but it was clean and quiet. We asked & received extra pillows and blankets as the pillows were extremely soft and only sheets were provided. The temperature in the room was uncontrollable with either AC too cold or heat too warm. Manager Loretta was very helpful as were her 2 employees on duty. Hotel is very basic- if you need a quiet place to rest your head, this place works.

Great for the price

Clean room and beds, kind staff , basic but nice. No breakfast but pets are free…. I would recommend and stay here again.

Found 2 cockroaches in the room, left immediately

Cockroaches in room. Stunk of strong cleaning odor.

The oom was dirty, walls falling apart in the bathroom, shower was disgusting!

Just passing thru and needed a place to rest. Man who checked me in was very nice, and room was decent for the price. Would definitely stay again when I go back up that way

Roaches and run down, more roaches, we put everything back in our truck and prayed the night 🙏

The prices could be a little lower

Ive been here for awhile now with Wife and daughter and management has been very helpful with everything. If you need anything its just a question away and they are more than helpful with anything within their ability. Very clean and Comfortable

Room was not ready when we arrived after 6pm!. When we did get into the room, the pillow cases had not been changed...they were filthy. The hand towel was dirty also. Both had to be replaced. Toilet did not flush. Floor was dirty. Very poorly kept....would not recommend at all.

I was supposed to have a king size bed but had two queens.

There were bugs. Things smeared on the walls and bathroom door. No chair for the desk. It wasn’t a very good experience.

Took three room changes to get into a dump of a room! Filthy, no working TV. Towels were absolutely filthy. Cannot believe I got charged. The forest would have been preferable!

Roach motel

No coffee in lobby. No one was ever in the lobby for help. Ceilings were cracked and a pole was holding up outside pending

Took a long time before anyone even greeted me at motel and checked me in. Nobody at desk. Curtain rod fell down when I closed curtains. No electrical outlet to plug in microwave or fridge. Had to pull them over to Bathroom vanity and plug them in. No bolt lock on door. Had been pulled out of door and frame. Sheets stained with dog prints. Hairs on pillows and stained. Nobody at desk and door locked to front lobby when I wanted to check out. Had to hunt down a handyman in the storage room to let me back into my room to get the rest of my belongings.
