Best Western Plus Heritage Rail-South York/I-83

Check-in was seamless, but unfortunately, the property did not meet reasonable expectations. The fourth-floor hallway had a strong, unpleasant odor, and our first room was musty with dirty floors and no air conditioning running. There was no coffee maker or hair dryer, the bathroom was extremely cramped, and the shower had almost no water pressure. The towel I used also had what appeared to be dog hair on it. We were offered a second room, but it had the same cleanliness and odor issues, along with numerous marks on the walls. The condition of both rooms, especially the bathrooms, was significantly different from the photos advertised on Expedia. We ultimately decided not to stay and requested a refund for the unused night, but the request was denied. Expedia provided a $50 credit. Based on the cleanliness, maintenance, odor, lack of basic amenities, and discrepancy between the advertised photos and actual condition, I would not recommend this property.

The room was nice shower was confusing

Clear room, parking good nicely maintained rooms. They had to shut off water for a repair that too longer than anticipated, but not sure i would fault them for that I would stay there again

Had a great clean room. Elevator had what appeared to be animal hair (luckily my allergies wasn’t acting up). Room was great and clean. Although, upon entering room smelled as if someone just used the bathroom. Didn’t complain as I was only there for one night. The shower pressure was very lacking it was so low that it took longer for me to take a shower. Property owners need to look into the water pressure. Other than that room was great and staff were all welcoming.

Floors in room questionably clean. Pink mildew in shower floor.Someone's previously eaten food in refrigerator. Lobby was freezing !! Put clean towels in bathroom but didn't pick up used on floor. Will never stay here again while in York, Pa!!

Great property would definitely go back to stay!

Loved the fact that the pool was open early and kids could spend the day in it. Loved the breakfast. There wasn't one thing about this hotel id complain about.

Very welcoming staff and clean property.

The room was clean and smelled like it had just been cleaned with corona but the hallway smelt like mildew. The staff was nice and friendly. I know that you can't control people but before 7:15 AM there people talking loud up and down the hallway. The bathroom shower has no tray or nesh to put shower accessories.

Room was clean and comfortable, but the shower was absolutely terrible. It appears to have multiple jets/etc but the water pressure does not support it. Therefore you have a cold shower that drips on you. Coffee was out all of breakfast one day. The breakfast area was destroyed 20 minutes after opening the next. But, all in all, it was safe and the room was clean

We could not get the shower adjusted and it was scalding hot. Carpets filthy and need to be cleaned. Floir in our room was dirty.

Room was very small compared to the online pictures. Pool was also small. The breakfast was not tasty. Room was rundown .

They even had make up remover in the bathroom. That was very convenient. The breakfast though, i would only give it a 5/10. Not too many options. I have paid an extra $45 for a 2pm check out. I definitely recommend

Clean and quiet

Clean and comfortable. Front desk staff were supper nice
