After checking in, we were assigned a first floor room in the rear building that had a strong musty, mildew smell. Upon inspection of the wall mounted A/C unit I could easily see mold and heavy dirt buildup on the visible components. We requested a different room and were moved to the second floor, it was not much better. That A/C unit was just as filthy, both me and my wife experienced sinus issues throughout the night. The rooms have old, worn out carpet, the entire property is outdated, and there are obvious patch job repairs everywhere. The online photos are very misleading and do not accurately represent the current condition of the hotel. Considering what we paid, this stay was incredibly disappointing especially compared to the hotel we moved to after checking out. Wyndham used to be a chain I trusted, but this experience was a major disappointment after coming to town for the State Fair and Parmalee concert.

The hotel was great! Nice and clean. We did have an issue with the air conditioner, and it was properly handled by the staff.

I love this place. My husband and I have traveled alot this summer and have stayed in quit a few hotels. This by far is the best hotel we have stayed at on the east coast. The price we got was excellent. Wod definitely go back. I don't want to forget the staff they were so nice so welcoming❤️

Definitely needs updating! I also didn’t like that they charged my card an additional $ 100. I’m still waiting for refund.

The staff were ok the room was clean but there weren’t enough blankets and pillows and towels etc no toilet paper a few crumbs on the bed no free breakfast anymore and they charged an additional 100 dollar fee the pool was crowded w kids every day splashing and acting up and we barely got to use it

The staff was excellent, friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The patio was lovely with the outdoor fireplaces and lanai. We were looking forward to the indoor pool but was disappointed that it was so cold that we not be able to swim long. And I have already sent a message concerning the shower door not closing.

Check in went well. The hotel is in an unexpected area but was not a bad thing. Once we got to our room I set up for our stay. The room was pretty clean but there were definite areas that needed improvement. The wallpaper in the bathroom was lifting, there was an area just inside the door where the caulking was wearing and cracked and needed to be redone. The bathroom floor wasn’t completely clean and the conditioner bottle was empty. The second floor looks like it’s being remodeled or repainted or both because there was missing outlet covers and painters tape around them. Did not get to utilize the breakfast so I can’t rate that but we did visit FenderZ for dinner and it was very good (little pricey but good). Waiting staff could have been a little better but was not horrible. One thing we were really disappointed with was the pool. We were really excited to utilize the pool however Saturday afternoon/night there was a birthday party scheduled and the party goers were so loud and wild that my family was overwhelmed and and truly just couldn’t enjoy the pool at all. I realize it’s a party and things so I fully expect some fun and play but these kids were screaming at the top of their lungs (could hear them from our room that was all the way on the second floor and down the hall from the pool), running and jumping into the pool, no parental supervision, no care for other pool goers. It just was not enjoyable and no staff to control or contain the party for hotel guests.

Found cockroaches in our room and stains on the sheets. Hallways was 85 degrees and humid. Entire hotel was disgusting and heard of many issues from other guests. Never going back

Very clean, food and pool were great!

My kiddos and I used to enjoy this place a lot because of the clean rooms and the indoor pool. Fast forward a few years and the rooms are in need of a total overhaul, not a deep clean. The must lingered in every square inch of the room, the lighting is drab, and sugar ants occupied my room. I could only handle one night of this experience. I checked out with a quick explanation (mostly the ant situation), and a nice attitude, and was met with a “ew gross” response from the front desk. I didn’t ask for a discount or a refund and there wasn’t one offered. Super disappointing.
