Motel 6 Yuma, AZ - East

When Raj finally appeared, he rudely announced that he had canceled my reservation. I reminded him that the hotel allows late arrivals. He told me it would have been simple for me to call, yet the hotel never called me before canceling my six-night stay. He had already given away my room and refused to honor my original third-party rate, telling me I would have to pay a higher price. I remained polite and left. Raj’s behavior was dismissive, unprofessional, and completely lacking in compassion. His decision caused serious financial hardship and forced me to find another hotel after traveling a long distance. This is not how a manager should treat a paying guest.

The property was dirty and had a fowl pet smell. There were several homeless people in the parking lot area and while the hotel does not control that aspect of the stay it felt very unsafe and if I had my wife and family with me we would have not stayed there.

The housekeeping ladies were very nice and polite Ac didn’t work, hot water didn’t work, bed springs poked is, faucet in the sink sprayed when used, tv doesn’t turn on.

The air conditioner didn't work very good, room never got cold during the stay.

Price and staff very courteous. They didn't have a microwave in my room or fridge but I guess I got the cheapest room.they do have rooms with that.

2.they assigned me to a smoking room (contrary to my request) 3.the room had no shampoo. 4.the room had no iron!! I had to purchase an iron to make my shirts presentable for my meetings. 5.i counted up to 5 homeless people sleeping on the parking lot... 6.the card key stopped working everyday. It was hell walking to the office with 117 °F to get the card activated again.

I asked for a microwave and frig and like always….they said non available. I’ve stayed there many time. PLUS, found a red hair on my bed. I was alone and my wife’s hair is black and long. Nasty situation Bad management
