1. Offer Summary
Engine, Inc. ("Engine," "we," "us," or "our") is offering eligible new Engine X cardholders a limited-time spend incentive (the "Offer"). By participating in this Offer, you agree to these Terms and Conditions (the "Terms"), which supplement and are subject to the Engine X Card Program Terms and Engine X Reward Terms.
The Offer: Spend $2,000 in qualifying off-platform transactions within 30 calendar days of your credit limit acceptance and earn 20,000 Engine points, valued at $200 in travel credit.
2. Eligibility
To be eligible for this Offer, you must meet all of the following criteria:
- New Engine X Account. You must be a newly approved Engine X cardholder. This Offer is available only to net new Engine X credit accounts opened during the Offer Period. If you previously held an Engine X credit account that was closed, cancelled, or converted, you are not eligible.
- Prior Travel Users. If you are an existing user of Engine’s travel platform but are new to Engine X credit, you are eligible for this Offer.
- Credit Limit Acceptance. You must have accepted your approved credit limit. The date on which you accept your credit limit is your Enrollment Date.
- Good Standing. Your account must remain open, active, and in good standing (no delinquency, no active Terms of Service violations, no fraud flags) throughout the Offer Period and at the time points are credited.
- One Per Account. This Offer is limited to one (1) incentive per Engine X account, regardless of the number of authorized users, cards, or administrators associated with the account.
3. Offer Period
Your Offer Period begins on your Enrollment Date (the date you accept your Engine X credit limit) and ends at 11:59 PM Pacific Time on the thirtieth (30th) calendar day following your Enrollment Date (the "Offer Period"). The Offer Period is the window during which you must complete qualifying spend. All qualifying transactions must fully settle on, or before, the end of the Offer Period.
For example, if you accept your credit limit on June 1, 2026, your Offer Period runs through 11:59 PM PST on July 1, 2026.
Because transaction settlement may take several business days after a purchase is made, we recommend completing your qualifying purchases well in advance of the deadline.
Please note, meeting the spend threshold within the Offer Period is only one condition of earning the bonus points. As described in Section 6, points will not be credited until you have also paid in full the statement balance associated with your qualifying spend. The Offer Period defines when qualifying spend must occur; it does not determine when points are delivered.
4. Qualifying Transactions
4.1 What Counts
A qualifying transaction is a purchase made with your Engine X card that meets all of the following criteria:
- Off-Platform. The purchase must be made at a merchant or vendor outside of Engine’s travel booking platform. Any transaction processed through Engine’s booking system (including flights, hotels, rental cars, or other travel services booked through Engine) is excluded.
- Settled. The transaction must have fully settled (posted to your account as a completed transaction). Pending authorizations, pre-authorizations, and temporary holds do not count, even if they appear on your statement during the Offer Period.
- Net of Refunds. If a qualifying transaction is subsequently refunded, reversed, or subject to a chargeback, the refund amount will be deducted from your cumulative qualifying spend. Your qualifying spend is calculated on a net basis at all times.
4.2 What Does Not Count
The following transactions do not count toward the $2,000 spend threshold:
- Purchases made through Engine’s travel booking platform
- Interest charges, fees (annual, late, foreign transaction, or otherwise), or finance charges
- Transactions that are declined, blocked, reversed, or flagged for fraud
- Transactions that do not fully settle within the Offer Period
5. Spend Threshold and Reward
If your net qualifying spend (as defined in Section 4) equals or exceeds $2,000.00 by the end of your Offer Period, you will earn 20,000 Engine points, which have an approximate value of $200.00 in travel credit when redeemed through Engine’s travel platform.
The actual redemption value of points may vary. Points have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash, or redeemed outside of Engine’s travel platform.
6. Points Delivery
If you meet the spend threshold, Engine will credit 20,000 points to your Engine X account within thirty (30) days following confirmation that both (i) your qualifying spend has been verified and (ii) you have paid in full the statement balance associated with your qualifying spend. Verification includes a settlement confirmation period of up to five (5) business days after the close of your Offer Period to allow for final transaction settlement.
For clarity, bonus points will not be credited to your account until the outstanding balance on your Engine X Card attributable to qualifying transactions has been paid in full. Partial payments will not trigger a partial points credit. Once full payment is confirmed by Engine, points will typically be credited within thirty (30) days.
You will receive a notification (via email and in your Engine account) confirming that the points have been credited to your account. Points will be visible in the Rewards section of your Engine X dashboard.
7. Post-Payout Adjustments
If, after points have been credited to your account, a refund, reversal, dispute, or chargeback causes your net qualifying spend to fall below the $2,000 threshold, Engine reserves the right to deduct the 20,000 points from your account balance.
Engine will provide you with notice before any such adjustment is made, except where prohibited by law or where the adjustment is necessitated by fraud.
8. Tracking Your Progress
During your Offer Period, you can view your progress toward the $2,000 spend threshold on the Spend Overview page of your Engine X dashboard. The progress tracker displays your cumulative net qualifying spend and the number of days remaining in your Offer Period.
Please note: The progress tracker reflects settled transactions only. Due to normal transaction processing times, there may be a delay of one to two (1–2) business days between when a purchase is made and when it appears in your qualifying spend total. The progress tracker is provided for informational purposes and does not constitute a guarantee of Offer eligibility. Final eligibility is determined by Engine based on verified settlement data.
9. Disqualification
Engine reserves the right to disqualify any participant and withhold or revoke points if Engine determines, in its sole discretion, that:
- The participant has violated the Engine X Card Program Terms.
- The participant’s account is closed, suspended, or no longer in good standing at any point during the Offer Period or before points are credited.
- The participant has engaged in fraudulent activity, manufactured spend, or other conduct designed to artificially satisfy the spend threshold.
- The participant has engaged in any activity that Engine determines, in its sole reasonable discretion, to be abusive, manipulative, or inconsistent with the spirit of this Offer.
10. Modification and Termination
Engine reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate this Offer at any time and for any reason, with or without notice, to the extent permitted by applicable law. If Engine modifies or terminates the Offer, any changes will apply prospectively only and will not affect participants who have already completed the spend threshold prior to the date of modification or termination.
Engine will make reasonable efforts to notify affected participants of material changes to the Offer through the Engine X dashboard, email, or other communication channels.
