Days Inn by Wyndham Abilene

Room needed to be vacuumed, torn curtains and dust on the mirror by the bathroom. Foil desert plate still on the floor between bed and night stand.

Rooms reeked of smoke and weed. Repairs that had not been made in months. Toilets that did not operate. TV remotes that did not function. Had 5 rooms in this hotel and every room had at least one of the previous issues and many had multiple. I could not recommend this properly to anyone. Staff could care less.

Not enough electricity on the head board. The pillows had no consistency.there was no soap or shampoo in the bathroom. Their was one wash cloth for two adults.

This property does not meet the standards that you expect from a Wyndham property. Large hole in the carpet, smoke detector was removed. It was clean.

Location and price were great The fact that I had to put up a cash deposit along with my card for room, smoke detector was removed from room so just a wire hanging from ceiling and hot water did kot work.

No hand soap, door does not seal so we had cockroaches in the room, shower head about to fall out, towel rack siliconed, toilet needing caulked & breakfast very limited. For the price we had to pay for this dump it was not good!

The room was clean and quiet and the bed was comfortable. I had 2 issues, the toilet seat is disgusting, it stained, has rough places and it looks like someone tried to paint over some chips. That seat has long outlived its existance. The other issue is just inside the door they have tried to patch the carpet and whoever did it did a terrible job. I'm not against patching the carpet, it gives a very bad first impression when you open the door.

I enjoyed the visit for location and comfort bed. Room was clean, just needed an update of decor

The room smelled so musty/mildewy and like wet dog. Didn’t even take off our shoes. Tried to just suck it up and get some sleep but the smell was too overwhelming. They would not refund our money because they said “you didn’t tell us right away and waited 1.5 hours”… okay, our bad.,,, but honestly we were not trying to be pests and couldn’t bear the stench any longer so we left. Would be ashamed that this is a Wyndham property, TBH. They refused any compensation or even another room.

It took awhile for the desk clerk to check us in. The room was as clean but the hotel desperately needs to be remodeled. The room did not have a safety chain on the door and I did let the front desk clerk know.

The Breakfast It not good with very little to offer, My room had broken light by bed, Not bad bulb but light with broken switch. No bath towels were in my room at all, only wash rag and hand towels. Toilet seat very old and needs replaced.

Room floors needed vacuuming room only came with ONE large towel to dry off. Ice machine was broken on the second floor stairs only. Check out lady was sweet but no A/C in lobby. Bedding was stained the topper. The bed was hard and the tv you had to turn it in from the tv only but will turn off with remote. The remote felt gross and nasty very strange texture. Close to restaurant and shopping staff 5 stars room 0.5 stars this hotel need a major overhaul on renovations and updates

This motel is basically used by construction workers. The bathtub was caked in mold, the sink was backed up. The carpet was stained and dirty along with furniture. Maybe I expected to much, but paying $200 a night I expected a little more

The bathroom had trash and dirt behind the door. The carpet was gross and tattered. No outlets by the beds is a problem. We had to move the mattresses to find a place to plug in our CPAPS.
