Courtyard by Marriott Abilene Southwest/Abilene Mall South

Very dark and poorly lit. Overpriced for a run down hotel with no free breakfast options. They did have an order and made breakfast but you had to pay. You can tell that some of the data center people are “living” there which was fine. Front desk evening girl was super sweet but am girl was a bit grouchy.

Facilities was fine just old and had pigeons nested on my room porch or balcony. Everyone seemed overwhelmed with new computer system. I saw several people go down the road because of the room prices and confusion.

This place is not nice. It's so so so super outdated and I still somehow paid $263/night in Abilene Texas. I will not be staying here again. Check-in was slow. I stepped outside my door at 8:45a and the door shut behind me and my key was already disabled so I had to go to the front desk in my Pjs. Just, no.

Entire place needs updating and attention to detail.

The Bistro was not open at 8:00 as advertised; so I went down street to nearest Whataburger. Parking lot seemed to be in somewhat a state of disrepair; perhaps too many cold winters? Handicap parking was visible but paint wearing out.
