Great place. My favorite

Hotel feels like a time capsule of the 80s and 90s. Very clean, but very dated. Old property. Breakfast was great, though.

TV in the room did not work, door to the room did not open with the card and had to get three replacements.

This hotel is certainly unique! It was clearly very nice about 35 years ago, and it retains a lot of the unique character of that time period. The cooked-to-order breakfast and nightly happy hour stand out from the standard chain hotel offerings.

Very nice breakfast

It was nice. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The property/room is getting a little dated though.

Rooms were so nice and very clean, as was the pool area! My daughter left behind a pair of earrings, and the staff was so helpful in securing those for her. I have stayed several times at this property and will continue to do so. I highly recommend for anyone visiting the Abilene area.

Kids loved the indoor pool!

We had a very nice stay. Everything was clean and well maintained. The evening drinks were a nice touch and I loved the pool. Would definitely stay here again.

Fun as always

Staf was cheerful. Overall good stay, family frienly. Outdoor self parking available. Breakfast included, includes omelette on order. One inconvenience was the bed, mattresses are not very wide compared to other hotels and they bend down a lot on the side.

Great hotel family friendly

This was a great hotel with plenty of space and a good breakfast. Exactly what we needed

The hotel is older and you have to take that into consideration. The rooms are in seriously need to remodeling. The bathtub in particular and the room furniture were at EOL (end of life). We were in a 6 person suite with 4 people occupying, all adults. The hotel outside of the rooms was still very nice and nicely maintained. The best thing was the cooked breakfast and the staff doing that were excellent and friendly. We wouldn't stay there again unless the rooms were remodeled. I know you can't do them all at once and perhaps we just got one that you hadn't gotten to yet. We were in 234. The beds were very comfortable. When you remodel, consider taking out the entire bar area. That would make the couch/TV are much more usable. Probably few use the in room bar anyway when you have a nice bar inside the hotel.
