Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Atlanta Acworth

The front desk personal at night must have been new. I booked a room for 5 people(3 adults & 2 kids). I was given a double queen room. She told me to make it work. That her sister and daughter could sleep in a queen bed together. They didn't have the baby crib bed, as stated. She also told another guest they didn't have a washer & dryer. I stepped in and stated, I've never known a hotel to not have one. She instructed the guest that he could go look on the other floors to see if there was one. Another guest said, you have to have one, because you ard saling laundry products. Which there was one on the 2nd floor. I asked for manager name, she stated I don't give that out. Got to the room and it smelled horrible, like dirty mop water. They switched us immediately. While waiting on keys, ants were crawling on the wall. The employee took her hand and killed them. They only had three sets of towels, which we have 5 people. Asked for more and all they gave was the big towel. Didn't get full set until hours later after we were gone. Upon check out, systems were down, so no official checkout. This was the worst hotel experience. They need employees that know their job and property information.

From cockroach to coffee machine not working. I don't know how to begin te review. I think they can improve everything because is a good hotel

The room had a funky smell when you first walked it, maybe use some carpet fresh or baking soda on carpet. Due to storms in the area and having Directv as the provider, lost signal multiple times which was not great.

The location and the cleanliness of the hotel. the rooms were very spacious, the breakfast also had a good variety I don’t have any complaints

Unorganized. I booked the trip for my husband's work travel. He had his receipt for his stay, but still was questioned about his name, and someone came into his room at midnight the first night, but said it was an accident. When he went to checkout the staff were unable to print him a receipt of his stay This was his second time staying here but the first time he had so much trouble during his stay. Please do better!

The facility itself, the room was clean and smelled normal. Professional staff and the hotel was quiet and peaceful. After checkout, I noticed a charge that was not disclosed in the guest notices. I called numerous times ( 3-4 exactly ) and found that annoying. I sent an email and the charge was removed. All in all, I'd stay again as I enjoyed my stay but will inquire in advance about possible charges.

This was my go to hotel north of Atlanta. Not any more. My room had no towels, The bathroom in my room was not very clean. The bathroom in the lobby was unkept and smelled like a urinal, and the breakfast was sub par. I don’t usually comment but wow guys, what happened??
