The dresser drawers didn’t close and the front was de-laminated. The bedspread was well-used and very pilled. Pillows are flat and lacking the used to be filling because everything is very well-used. The toilet drains very slowly. The shower drains very slowly, so while you take your shower, you must stand in 4 inches of your own filth because the tub doesn’t drain properly. The sink to wash your hands fills quickly as that does not drain well either. So, all plumbing needs to be addressed. There was a handful of toilet paper on the side of the tub so not easily seen if any inspection happened prior to renting this room. The phone was covered with sticky stuff and random stains on phone. The AC unit is very loud and not something you can sleep with so I turned just the fan on which made it very hot to sleep in room but better than the loud AC sounds. The floor had patches of stuff on it so you need to make sure you were wearing sandals to walk in the room. It is a joke in my opinion to present the guest to pay $100 right before they see the actual condition of this room. It appears that they just want to assume everyone wants to steal their stuff but they don’t need to take any accountability to maintain a proper room.

I found the front-desk staff to be friendly, hospitable, and helpful. The first room I was given had a powerful smell of cleaning chemicals, the light over the sink not working, and a carpet wet enough in at least one place that as soon as I stepped on it with my shoeless foot, my sock was wet. I went to the front desk to ask for a different room. I got one. This room was better. The carpet was not very clean -- parts of it seemed not to have been vacuumed. There was dust on the fixtures. The shower curtain rod was starting to come off the walls. I went to sleep early to be woken up just before 11pm by my neighbor out on the porch with the door open so he could hear his music from inside his room. I called the front desk who came up and talked with him. That worked and I got back to sleep. I arranged for checkout at 11:30 am instead of 11:00 am. At 10:30 am a man was staring into my room, through the window. I figured he was a member of the cleaning staff trying to get a gauge on whether the room was ready for cleaning, but it still creeped me out, and felt invasive. I tried to nap. At about 10:50 am there was a knock on the door announcing "house keeping." I let them know I had extended checkout to 11:30 am. He was surprised. Yes, he was the man who had stared into the room. At one point, there was a woman trying to do a wellness check on a friend or family member of hers who was staying there. Front desk were kind enough in the a.m. to hold my suitcase for a few hours.

My shower was broken, went to ask the staff for a key to a different room to shower and was told to come back at 8am, after arguing I was finally given a key to a different room to shower. Horrible experience.

I put 4 stars. It is what you'd expect it to be. Cheap motel close to an airport. It was servicable for my needs. Definitely felt older and cheap, but that's what I was expecting for the price.
