Travelodge Inn & Suites by Wyndham Albany

The room was quite dirty. Kept finding live wasps too. Toilet and sink had not been cleaned. We got out as fast as we could. Not worth it

Everything was great

When I showed up for my reservation, the room I had booked months ago was no longer available for me. I was given the last remaining room in the hotel, which was fine with me-- all I really needed was a clean room and bed to sleep in after working an event. However, the bed was all I received in terms of cleanliness. The hotel room was so dirty. The two nightstands had sticky rings all over them from cups (probably soda or alcohol, with visible stickiness on the floor around the nightstands too. The entire room's floor looked like it hadn't been swept or mop in ages, based off the amount of different hair types laying all over the floor. Visible dirt on all of the walls, and I discovered a poop streak on the toilet seat immediately upon entering the room. It was too bad I didn't bring flip flops with me for the shower, because that did not look clean either. I know it's a cheap hotel, but I expect a standard level of cleanliness in any hotel I stay at. The least they could do is sweep the floor and wipe down the surfaces before the next guest comes in.

Staff was very friendly and room was clean.

This place is actually very clean. The Staff is super friendly, I definitely will continue to use this hotel whenever I’m in town.

we have stayed at this hotel before. It had been a good deal for the money. This time we found cookie crumbs in the bed. We thought they hadn't changed the sheets. The breakfast had been good. it was one little granola bar with a piece of fruit and a bottle of water this time. The room smelled of mold. they needed to change the air filter.

It was great for a short stay.

The front desk staff who checked me in was colder than ice. I guess the whole building wouldn't need any AC in the summer.

I stayed 2 nights. The room wasn’t very new looking and whether it was the bathroom or the air conditioner there was a definite musty smell. The linens and towels were of the cheapest quality but they were clean. Toilet got backed up once and they came right away and plunged it so the staff was very helpful. The bed was comfortable. If you’re looking for a place to crash for the night it’s serviceable. Not great, not horrible. Very middle of the road.

Room was clean, but hallways were less so, very convenient to restaurants and shopping areas,

The room had no coffee maker, are you that cheap rhat you won’t offer cheap coffee or tea? And the room wasn’t swept or vacuumed, there was hair from previous guests all over the place.

Arrived at 1:30pm, wanting to check in a little early. However, THEIR policy is no check-in until 4pm. Even though the room was ready. I waited in the breakfast area, because they did not want me to wait in the Lobby. Waited 2.5 Hours! Because of there ridiculous policy. FIND A DIFFERENT HOTEL, DONT STAY HERE.

Excellent, very clean, and a very quiet place. Very good check-in experience with the receptionist. I would stay there again.

I wish i could choose 0 stars because this place was absolutely disgusting. It wreaked of mold and there was dead roaches all over the floor. I hope the health dept makes a visit there because it’s not suitable for living !

Even though they say they have “renovated” it is still tired looking There was something substance on the nightstand that was disgustingly, the bathtub is missing enamel and the windows very thin allowing for outside noise. On top of that I was given a room right beside the upper level Exit door so people started letting it bang from 6 am as they left. For some reason I seems like you get their worst room and location when you book through Hotels.com or at least that is my experience. Location was great right across from a large mall but I will not stay again and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Recent renovation helped.

Property iteself was ok. The staff were not bad, they were polite. The room wasn’t the greatest, especially the bathroom. The towels smelled like cigarettes, the fan was loud, and toilet didn’t flush well. There was a light on the wall that buzzed when turned on, the bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean.

it's a typical, rundown Travelodge. BUT, our room location was quiet, room needs considerable redecoration/reconditioning, hot and cold water are reversed, as to be expected, No bed bugs!! Air conditioning didn't work but opening the window did the job. I might stay there again, I say might.
