It was ok. But just ok. Tv didn’t work but it was the evening when we discovered that and was just staying the one night so didn’t feel like call the desk to have them come look at. At check out I mentioned that the tv didn’t work so they could fix for next guest. Man asked me ‘do you know why it didn’t work?’ I was a bit confused and said ‘no, I have no idea what’s wrong with it.’ He said ‘it’s the light switch.’ I asked what he meant and he said there is a light switch that operates the tv power. Well, that would have been great to know at check in, or note on remote or near the tv, or on the light switch…. Other than that, and the showerhead being designed for those under 5 feet tall, it was an ok stay.

Overall a good experience and would stay there again.

The only downfall was a small patch of grass for the dog to go the bathroo., otherwise it was a great stay.

We got there at 815 most of everything was gone only thing good was the coffee Water pressure was really weak

We arrived 20 minutes before check-in time. Would have been charged $25 for early check-checkin so had to wait in lobby. Silly policy.

Breakfast was okay. Was still cold. And wasn't ready at 6am.

Fortunately this property has been renovated recently enought that things are generally in good shape. My room was impressively quiet given the location right next to a major interstate. Oddly enough, something I really appreciated was the shower enclosure which seems to be especially easy to keep clean and has good functional features. The location pretty much requires driving to anything at all but the "neighborhood" (surrounded by small commercial businesses and a shuttered hotel as of this review) is mellow enough for walking around. I've never felt unsafe in my many hotel stays around Albuquerque (typically a single overnight, with one extended visit) though some places have felt a little sketchier for a parked vehicle, and this location was maybe slightly above average in that department simply because it's out of the way. So far I've had good experiences at Best Westerns and I'd stay here again if the price was reasonable.
