La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Albuquerque Northeast

It is a good location for the balloon fiesta. They have washer and dryer available. The shampoo and conditioner are too small to actually use for one person, bring your own. Coffee had been splattered by the sink but not cleaned. The bathroom was redone but the bathtub mat was old.

Tried to reach the front desk all day to let them know we’re gonna be arriving late and nobody ever answered the phone. Then in the morning when we tried to check out, the front desk was again missing an action after they told me to come back and get my receipt when I check out. Also, the rooms are supposed to have a mini fridge and there was no mini fridge in our room.

Bed was comfortable. Place is run down and it dirty on the outside. There was mold growing in the tiles of the bathroom. The paint is pealing off the room door. The landscaping was overgrown and dead. What I disliked the most was the $100 security deposit that was reqired for an overnight stay and the up to 5 days for it to be refunded. When i told the desk staff that was not right his attitude shifted and he said I knew about the requirement when I made the reservation. I said i did not make the reservation. He said that was my problem.

Thank you for asking about our stay. I know that only 3% of people leave a good message . This is not a bad message, it's the truth & maybe the owner will learn from this.

Breakfast was average. Location was good, next to the interstate and had a restaurant next door. Bathtub held 6” of water while showering. Mold on wall in shower. Bed smell like tobacco.

Check in delayed 1/2 hour because there is a policy that housekeeping does not report that rooms are available till very late. I noticed at least 5 parties waiting for checkin 1/2 hour beyond the stated 3 pm chech-in time

Not at the same standards as the other La Quintas I’ve stayed at. Amenities, cleanliness at the same level as basic econlodge motel

Nothing fancy but good bed for being on the road. The front desk girl was very nice k. T.

Bad

The pool looks like a swamp. The bed sheets were dirty. My little towel in the bath had feces on it and it was folded to where I wouldn’t see it until I was in the very low water pressure shower. Two shampoos were given with no conditioner. I just needed a five hour stay and a shower but I was only able to sleep for two hours.

There isn't enough savings to even consider it. Just stay somewhere else.

Very dirty & outdated. From the rooms to the outside. It needs a good deep cleaning & some much needed renovations. One of the pillows was yellow, dingy & dirty. So gross!! I will not recommend or ever stay here again. It was cheap & you definitely get what you pay for in this case. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

I also felt there should have been a ceiling light. Other than that is was a nice room. I didn't stay for breakfast.

Refrigerator didn't work. Pool not open. Breakfast selection minimal. Ok for the price but was disappointed. Room was large and renovated. Bed comfy.
