Garner Hotel Albuquerque West by IHG

Nice big rooms Kinda of shady hotel. They charge $25 deposit that they say goes back on ur card when u leave but I never got deposit back it's been 7 days. I've called a few times to see the status. But know ever answers.

It was too noisy, you will never sleep.

A nicely renovated property and friendly staff. In my room, there wasn’t a way to keep the bathroom light on during the night. The bathroom fan was connected to the light and the room was very dark at night. We managed, but it would be nice if there was a nightlight.

Exelent Location but

I’ve stayed in 10 budget friendly hotels the last 14 days. This was the least expensive and the nicest. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not some supe high end room but it was clean, updated, the property was kept and the staff was friendly

Easy location close tofreeway. Clean hotel and decent hot breakfast. Called a week prior to confirmation of reservation and asked about using a cash deposit, staff confirmed over the phone, on arrival of reservation another staff member said we don't do cash deposit. I showed my call log and said "oh that's a new employee" I said she still a representative of the company. The desk clerk said oh well you can cancel your reservation and go elsewhere. Being a holiday weekend it was impossible. Absolutely rude. She then threw my card keys on the counter and rolled her eye's and said elevator over there without even pointing or eye contact. Also there was a shooting down the street at 10pm so basically a unsafe area.

There was a problem just after check in. I contacted Jaz at the front desk and she went right to work on the problem. We were offered another room and everything was completed in a short amount of time. She was very professional, friendly and engaging. The room was a good size for us traveling with our dog. Breakfast was delicious. Very good stay for the price we paid. Location was good for food and shopping. Might improve the dog area.
