First impressions are always (no hyperbole) influenced by prior expectations. #1. I noticed the sign regarding renovations--they are well past due. #2. This isn't this facility, but it was certainly a Hampton in another major city with an elevator out of service. One inoperative elevator --their "work around" were stairs (since they knew in advance, they should have notified each holder of a reservation. I am unaware of any adjustments or compensation. #3 I've been a senior manager in my working years--there are no accolades to Hilton's Hampton operations. Just information to be shared or ignored.

Property was older but hotel was clean and well maintained. Team was very friendly and helpful. Associate at front desk was friendly helpful, associate during breakfast was friendly and helpful to ensure we got what we wanted. Overall we would definitely stay here again

Clean and staff was friendly. The lighting in the rooms was so dim, the water pressure could have been stronger. The hot tub was out of order.
