Courtyard by Marriott Alexandria

The staff was friendly. Nice location. Alot of the furniture was really low to the ground. The toilet constantly ran. However other than not having a continental breakfast my family enjoyed our stay

my room was not clean at all, thank goodness i travel with my own cleaning supplies. The bathroom was dirty, hair on floor and counter. roaches in the bathroom, dust throughout the room. I understand that everyone has a bad day but the young lady from the cleaning staff was not friendly at all. it cost us nothing to speak or greet someone when spoken to but no reply is just rude. I will not be staying at this facility again. Customer service is appreciated when spending your money. Unfortunately I did not take photos but trust me I have nothing to gain by discrediting this hotel.

The staff were great and friendly. The room we had was horrible. There needs to be more upgrades and at least more cleaning in the rooms. My bathroom had wallpaper peeling off and rust and mildew in the bathroom. The carpet was wet. The ceiling had a water patch (if that’s the way you say it).

To make things worse, they charged me $175 for leaving early. Completely unacceptable. Honestly, a motel would have been a much better option. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND

Horrible stay. Couldn’t check in for 30 minutes because no one was at the desk. TV small, no remote, internet slow. Outside outdated. Thermostat didn’t work. Would not recommend

The rooms could definitely use a thorough cleaning. Our room felt sticky, and the bathroom needed a deep clean as well.

It’s an older hotel but it’s kept up besides the bathroom.

The room was okay. We were never able to connect to the internet which was frustrating for our teenager.

The man at the front desk was soo awesome the service was awesome clean and comfortable

The staff was extremely nice. Me and my daughters were greeted with a smile. The room was so neat and clean. I will definitely recommend this hotel

We had a great stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was really great. Great place to stay.

Overall quietness and cleanliness of the hotel. Staff was excellent and not overbearing. Everything was 10/10. The only thing we did not like was the fact that since we live in a 50 miles radius, we had to pay an additional $200.00 security deposit. The fee still has not been returned to our account. We weren't made aware of that before hand and it definitely would have helped us be more prepared. We had to change weekend plans because of the additional hold.
