Hampton Inn & Suites Alexandria

The Lamps in the room didn’t work , it wasn’t one of favorite Hampton Inns to stay .

Water in the shower came brown, AC noisy and not working well. Staff amazing.

It needs to be updated. Furniture, shower, & lamps are looking old. Bathroom floor was sticky & not as clean as it should’ve been. Slight smell to room.

Very convenient place to stay with acesss to restaurants and close to the interstate.

Wonderful staff very knowledgeable and friendly. Made our stay a very pleasant one. The only problem is when we took our shower the water would not completely shut off and it dripped all night. Over all a very nice stay

Location is good for what we needed

The room was quiet, very clean and the large shower was great.

This Hotel is dirty. There was pubic hair on the toilet seat when I came in my room. The floors need to be vacuumed. Hallways to the rooms were filthy.

I knew it was downhill when I couldn’t even get into the room. The door was jammed. Had to have the front desk staff open the door. The room had a faint smell of cigarettes. The bathroom was not clean! Hair all over the toilet seat. Sitting water and soap scum in the bathtub. The lamp bases were dirty. Just overall a very dirty room. I’m very disappointed with my stay. The other reviews were misleading. The staff was pleasant the only good thing about this stay.

Clean and quiet

The staff was not very friendly on check in. She put us in a room facing the highway, which was very noisy. She did move us when we requested it.

The front desk person was extremely nice and professional. The room was radley and outdated.

Was dirty and was in a bad part of town -

The Breakfast was good. They offered a lot of Options and the Coffee was Good and Hot. I wasn’t Happy that our room wasn’t cleaned. After speaking to the Front Desk. Towels were immediately brought to our room and the trash was removed as well.

Had to move rooms due to live critters / unclean staff was nice about it though

When we got to the room it was very cold. I tried to adjust the thermostat but couldn't. We left the room around 6 pm. On our way out, I stopped by the front desk and asked if someone could check the thermostat in our room. When we returned around 11 pm, the room was freezing. I called the front desk and asked if I could move because something was wrong with the thermostat. He agreed to change our room, while we were waiting on a room, I got the heat in our room to work, so we stayed in that room. Had someone came to the room earlier and looked at the thermostat, the room would have been warm. The furniture in the room was in need of updating. The lamps were rusty and in need of replacing. The tub had a filty stain in it. I just was not satisfied for the amount of money that we paid for this room. I expected better. I will recommend this hotel to anyone. The property just needs to be renevated.
