Comfort Inn & Suites Alexandria West

Breakfast was very good. Room was clean and front desk people were very nice even though they were in a temporary space.

The hotel was undergoing a major renovation. Our bathroom required major updating. We got what we paid for.

It was a decent night’s stay. It was under construction when I went, but overall I would stay here again

The hotel was old, trashy and in a total state of disrepair. The lobby had caution tape up and wallpaper peeling. Our room had stains on the carpet, there was mildewy grout in the shower, and the faucet dropped all night. We christened it the Discomfort Inn.

Great location

The breakfast was adequate. The room was somewhat small, but comfortable. The air conditioning was satisfactory. The room was cleaning enough, but it would have been better if the carpet had been cleaned.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good.

Air conditioner had a loud noise when it would come on. Woke us up during the night when it turned on.

A bit nervous at first bc it doesn’t look like the pic but it was being terminated ands or bedroom was good.

We did not know but when we got to the hotel we found out that it is under renovation. Even that, the staff was kind, professional and very helpful, especially Emily. The first room we were appointed to smelled strongly like bleach and we asked to be moved to another room; Second room was nice and clean; The breakfast area was kept clean, and there were good varieties of things to eat.

It was ok, kind of forced to stay because of flight cancellations and this was one of the cheapest places. Location wasn’t convenient to anything around, breakfast was ok, staff was very friendly and it was clean

Excessive Smoking and harassment by guest, cleaning crew, maintenance, engineering personnel and the front desk.

From the foot of the bed to the cabinet or chair is about 2 1/2 feet bathroom was very average had some employee yell down the hall at me “Kitchen closed” six minutes after breakfast I’m not sure what the kitchen is. That’s where you cook I was going to the cafeteria there’s no place to sit outside access to highways was good elevators moved quickly ice machine on the eighth floor didn’t work we stayed on the eighth floor and I had to go down to the fifth floor to get ice three times Generally, a pretty average hotel the breakfast is plentiful The bacon is like paper and horrible. Everything else was really great. I stayed into hotels back to back that are owned by Comfort, the other one in Dayton, Ohio their power went out prior to our arrival, and the Help staff yelled at customers multiple times, including me, repeating themselves that the power went out nine times it’s like they wanted us to feel sorry for them that was a Wyndam hotel and was my worst hotel experience in history one day before we stayed at this DC location

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and the breakfast was delicious.
