The staff was super, especially Jasmine at the front desk I would not set up the meal plan at Hummingbird Personally did not care for the food, service or ambience The room was a tad small, but the view was beautiful

The area is very walkable. We stay here every time we go to old town.

LOCATION!! Perfect location, nice outside area, water views and walking distance to everything. Parking attendant made limited parking easy for guests. Perfect staycation!

Everything was great, clean & would stay there again!

The hotel is in a great walking location to downtown Alexandria where there are plenty of shops and restaurants. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is extremely clean. The restaurant was delicious for dinner and had a beautiful view of the Potomac River.

The location of the hotel to the waterfront, restaurants, and shops is a big plus

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was super yummy. I’d def stay here again

Only one drawback: my cell phone service didn't work inside the room. I asked about it at reception. I was told that most guests complain of no cell service. As I could get one bar when I stood right up to the window (which doesn't open), I suspect that it's the thickness of the concrete walls and the small size of the windows that block cell transmission. But of course the hotel provided good WiFI and computer calls were therefore possible.

The hotel was very nice. Rooms was great, staff were extremely helpful and very nice. There were a few issues. We stayed on the 2nd floor, our ice maker was broken and the 3rd floor also had a filtered water machine. So that was inconvenient. We had breakfast that was amazing, but unfortunately I found a hair in my fruit cup.

Location

The location of the hotel is perfection! So glad this was my choice! The bed was very comfortable. The sheets were perfect. The pillows were so good, I'm looking online to buy some! The bathroom was nice, tho small, good shower, nice scent for their soaps, lotions and shampoo if you like using theirs, or forgot your own. It was very nice to be able to park on site, though expensive at $42 a night... but still.

Room was nice, but good grief fees for everything. Eat at the restaurant, pay a service fee on top of everything. Amenity fee at hotel but no amenities. Etc etc
-
Nice place but could offer a bit more for the price.
-
The staff sucks. Completely unhelpful! I’ve stayed at the property numerous times in the past but this was my last stay. The staff cannot be trusted. Be very careful if you stay here and make sure to check your check cards statements not just the bill they give you.

Beautiful property

The hotel itself is very nice. The lobby was just redone although a bit business hotel style. The rooms are a nice layout, but they are very much in need of renovation. For the past three years, the wallpaper in the bathroom has been peeling every time I've been there. The room feels a bit dated and colorless.
