The staff was incorrigible. Not every one was problematic, but the few who acted like we were interrupting their day made for a lousy stay at an expensive place. Plus making matters worse, the parking was a nightmare. There used to be better options.

I liked that the restaurant served food extremely fast even with crowds

Best thing about this hotel is location. Staff subpar, shower & toilet in room needed repair & the blinds would not go up! I had to manually prop them up so I wouldn’t feel I was in a cave. I prob would not stay here again unless was the ONLY good deal in Old Town.

The management placed us in a requested room I used for many years on business. This time was for pleasure. Also saw two prior front door staff now working elsewhere. Nothing at all

The gym is an afterthought. It’s basically a larger room with 3 treadmills, 1 bench, 5 sets of dumbbells going up to 35lbs. If you’re looking to get good workouts in during your stay this is not the place.

The location was excellent And the decor was generally good. The stuff were very good and very helpful. It was very expensive and we were charged for every little extra.

We have stayed in the Alexandrian at least once yearly for the past 10+ years as out-of-town visitors; however, unless significant upgrades are made shortly, we will choose an alternate venue going forward.

walking distance to the waterfront. onsite parking. staff was very helful when the elevator was down. didn't use the restaurant. there was a nice open market across the street that had great food.

Should be microwave in each room.

Great location with many restaurants and boutiques within walking distance. Close to pier and waterfront park.

The property on King St was very central to everything one needed to do and see. Although I did not require it, it was interesting to note the front doors were not accessible, making it difficult for someone in a wheelchair.

Perfect location to stay in beautiful, walkable Alexandria. This hotel resides in the middle of everything related to shopping, dining and history immersion. The property is comfortable and staff is very friendly and helpful.

The room could haved used a renovation, everything felt old, smelled like damp wood and sadness. The Restaurant is closed on Monday, which would have been on very to know beforehand. No continental breakfast is offered but they did say a $15 credit was offered for breakfaat at the restaurant but I left at 4:30AM so I didn't get to try it. The best thing about it is a few blocks from the water front. I wouldn't recommend it you REALLY need it's location.

I like the Marriott autograph hotels. This was my least favorite. Location was actually perfect. I was refunded because I had to switch rooms from a broken air-conditioning unit, the Keurig was broken, and there was a musty smell in both rooms. But then in other areas it smelled amazing. I’m not sure what I was smelling outside the room, but I loved it. Staff was very friendly and helpful with any of the problems we did have. I don’t know if I would stay there again…Because of the musty smell. That would be my biggest reason. We did not have breakfast, which I would’ve liked to try. We did go for dinner. The menu was underwhelming. Drinks and appetizers were sufficient. No one was inspired to order dinner there. But what we did eat, we enjoyed.

The room was cleaned. We arrived way before checkin and the staff was able to accommodate us with our room. The food at the restaurant was very good.
