Quality Inn Mt. Vernon

The women at the front desk was doing double duty and the breakfast room. She did a great job juggling both, despite a crowded breakfast room. She was so pleasent. Room and property were a little run down. Looks like they may be going through a renovation.

They do not properly check rooms. My room was out of shampoo & conditioner. The ac was not working, it was so hot. Very limited and bad breakfast selection compared to other Quality Inns in the same area. The vending machine is cash only. Overall an uncomfortable and inconvenient stay. Will not be returning here.

I can hope on the Metro and there's a lot of close eating places Need to get new TVs cuz some of the channels wasn't working

I enjoyed the upgraded breakfast with cooked eggs and bacon.

We enjoyed our stay so much at the Quality Inn Mount Vernon when we first visited the Washington DC area that we returned again when we returned to that area. The bedroom was spacious and the beds were comfortable. We were delighted to find a separate room with a fridge and a vanity sink. There was also a separate bathroom/shower so that the noise when using it did not disturb anyone sleeping. The TV did not work.

The staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area and the hotel I liked it very much and have no complaints.

Linens clean, friendly staff, breakfast was good and pool was fun.

The location was good, tucked just off the main strip. Plenty of food options around. The rooms could use some updating. The bed had a slight angle downward towards the head of the bed.

Overall the room was good.

Loved our stay here! Tanya was really sweet!! The breakfasts was really good! Its a old hotel but has quality for the bucks!! We stayed three nights! Our room was clean and the refrigerator and microwave was a bonus....I traveled with my son's so having a room with a door on the bathroom area was a bonus...I was able to walk out the bathroom into the mid area in privacy!! Highly recommend..Its neutral to Washington and Baltimore! The strip has everything From food to shopping plazas...Found some great deals...Only thing Id recommend them change are the pool hours...From 4-9p.m isn't long enough....

The room decor is terribly outdated; the carpet looks like it has been in use for decades—who knows how much filth is hidden deep within it. No one would dare walk barefoot or use the bedding they provided.

The terrible rooms had cockroaches, the service was very slow, the Attention provided bad rodents have bad service I recommend you never never stay in this place

Good place to stay outside of DC. We especially enjoyed the AC, breakfast, comfortable beds, and parking. Cleanliness was “meh”—there were a couple things that needed addressing, but it did not impede our stay. The staff was helpful in answering our questions and courteous when responding to our needs. Housekeeping was efficient. Near enough to Huntington metro station for tourism/travel.
