Front desk attendant waited till they took our card to check us in before they told us that there was no electricity because of a storm which was not their fault, but they should’ve told us before letting us check in. after checking in, we had to take our luggage up the stairs of two flights of steps. An attendant had to open the door for us let us set our stuff in then we left to go get something to eat so that hopefully when we returned, electricity was back on it was not it was 80° outside and 80° inside. Eventually, in the night the air came on and so did the electricity. But then this happened again the next evening, the electricity went out because of a storm not their fault. We went and checked with the front desk about leaving and going somewhere else to an area that had electricity to another hotel but it was too difficult to book something else or get our money back because we had booked this through Expedia. Also, on the sidenote, the breakfast wasn’t terrible. That which was offered cooked. Just need to be attended too more.

Asked for a quiet room upon checkin, had already listed that on the reservation, yet had to argue several times with the checkin man that yes I wanted it. Room was mostly quiet except it overlooked the busy roadway. Small king room.no whirlpool, no room safe. Sheets were terrible, old with lots of pilling. Breakfast was standard, but overcooked eggs. Close to bus stop to get to metro train to dc.

This place is not remodeled, old shower which was not working.
