Clean Rooms

Several things throughout the room was covered in mold
-
Probably one of the worst hotel stays, the people next door to me were literally outside the door smoking all night, no kind of security was enforced, in addition my room had black mold as well, won’t be returning that’s for sure.

What an awful hotel lol

Checked in on a Friday and checked out Sunday. Was locked out the room Saturday because they only made the rooms keys work for 1 night. Had to go get new ones. No smoking signs everywhere, but people are smoking on the balcony. Laundry room with the drink machine and ice was locked, card reader didn’t work at all. The wall air conditioner takes forever to cool the room down. Bed spread had stains on them. We found 5, yes 5, old eye lashes laying around. 3 on the ground, 1 on a nightstand, and 1 near the sink. Toilet takes a long time to flush, even without using it. Just hitting it seemed like it was struggling to get the water down. Shower head did not move one bit. Parking was fine. Overall it’s a place to stay if your in need of a room for a night to have a roof over your head, but I’d never stay here personally.

The only thing was that we lost power in our room a couple times but where quick to fix the problem

The room was a bit under cleaned. I just think they need to do a deeper cleaning than usual. While brushing my teeth, the mirror had small blood splatters on it and it was quite disgusting.
-
Parking was free TV remote doesn't turn on tv Damp towels Will not be back

Ok.

Value for money! For my short trip, I wanted to stay close by the airport with reasonable rate and I found this place worth it. If I have to make smilar trip again, it is my go to place.
-
They had a non smoking motel but the smoking area was in the parking area and Marijuana and cigarette smoke drifted to the room door.

Grimey, dank place (July). Towels with weird stains and hair, slick oily floors. You get what you pay for. but I needed a cheap spot in town for the 4th of July and this spot did the trick. Wouldn't cut it if I wasn't solo traveling. Staff was helpful though. But do yourself a favor and book a room at the Days Inn up the road. Night and day.

Our room was never fully cleaned by housekeeping, the bed was made and towels were changed only after you requested housekeeping. There was trash under the dresser, the rugs and floor would make the bottoms of our feet black after taking a shower. I will never stay at this Red Roof Inn or any other one again.

Poor cleanliness and a very noisy area.
-
Good a/c, comfortable chairs and desk, clean room.

Sheets and towels were clean when we got there, but in 7 days they never got trash and the only clean towels we got were when we went to the desk and asked. Still had all the dirty towels when we checked out. Toilet tank was not on properly and lid would not stay open and when you set on it, you were leaned forward.

Not a great part of town. Walked by quite a few homeless people. Property is not maintained well, quite trashy, literally. Interior is dated and needs updating.
-
Room smelled like mold and had stains on comforter and cover. When I asked for a new comforter, I was given a mattress pad. Bathroom was really small and sink was cracked all over and not cleaned behind. Vending on top floor was advertised, but not open. Vending on bottom floor was severely overpriced. No amenities. The air-conditioning struggled to work in a heat wave. I had requested a specific room ahead of time and they were not able to accommodate. Very difficult to get around.

Overall, I was pleased with Red Roof Plus since I was looking to save $ on a reasonable priced and clean, pet friendly stay with nearby walkable transit available to DC. Thanks
