Problem in bathroom

-

Everything was great. Would stay again

The hotel was in a great location. Staff was very friendly. We loved the spacious bathroom and the room overall was very nice. Minor frustration: when we returned to our room in the evening (after dark) we had no power except in the bathroom. Called downstairs, then walked downstairs to check with front desk again, but it took 45 minutes for someone to come upstairs and flip a breaker so we weren't sitting in the dark with no outlets working for 45 mins.

Great stay, the hotel is chi, modern and comfortable

The hotel was neat , clean and in a great location to walk around and explore the area. The staff were very nice and professional.

The front desk staff's customer service and hospitality was truly five-star, and the valet team was professional and friendly. I didn't get to check out the in-house restaurants or fitness center this trip, but next time I'll plan to enjoy some food and work off the calories without ever having to leave the property. The room was clean, spacious and inviting, and the bathroom had the most wonderfully deep bathtub/shower combo for relaxing. I always have a ton of toiletries and makeup, and there was more than enough vanity space with great lighting options. I would recommend The Satire for anyone looking for a quiet stay close enough to the attractions to not feel out-of-the-way, but with enough separation that you're not bothered by traffic and constant noise.

Overall good but the amenities were disappointing. For example, body cream was used by someone.

I would change the entertainment in the restaurant as the TV sitting in the corner with lousy audio was substandard. My recommendation is to put multiple TV monitors above the bar, as to provide a view of the entertainment from anywhere in the room. Also, I recommend putting in an audio system which surrounds the room with a low-key EDM vibe. Don't forget to use 8" speakers and a few strategically placed subs. The TV audio can be off and that way you keep the vibe while also providing some visual entertainment for those at the bar or rubbernecking to see the score from their table. Also, I would expand the appetizer menu a bit. The burger was great, but I would also have some more options... Think Beauty and Essex in Vegas as a good example. Best of luck, if and when I return to DC, I will be staying here again.

There was a sewage smell in our first room that wasnt apparent until the evening .They moved us with no issue the next morning.
-
I've stayed here a number of times under the AKA brand. Barely under the Marriott brand and changes, cleanliness etc were immediately noticeable. Highly disappointed, didn't even stay the full time that booked.

Had a great stay! Excellent staff and delicious recommendation for restaurant Jula's on the Potomac! So thankful for the free water given by front desk staff!

On the other side of things, the valet was excellent, as was housekeeping, and the barrender, Victor. I also enjoyed watching the World Cup matches in their theater. Upon checkout, one of the hotel managers, her names has escaped me, made sure to hear my side (Nigel had filled her in) and she took off the resort fees, which was very nice of her, but I would have preferred to be treated respectfully upon check-in.
