Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Altoona-Des Moines by IHG

Passable

It was a nice stay overall. Breakfast could have been stocked better and more consistently but we managed.

Great hotel very convenient to Adventureland clean great staff. Breakfast was good. Would definitely stay here again. The pool and hot tub were very clean.

Great stay!

The trip was great but wish we could've had Netflix in the room

Arriving to the hotel at customer service the gentleman didn’t look to happy and that’s not giving great customer service and his way of asking what he could help us with not to friendly and the room was very clean except the bathtub was yellow on the floor and found a bottle of Gatorade and the next day was better with customer service and I would stay again but need to do better with the evening customer service and the yellow bathtub

Professional and efficient staff. Good selection of hot items on breakfast bar. Comfortable bed and clean bathroom.

The room and hotel was immaculate and the pool & hot tub were fantastic. Breakfast was honestly the best we had had in the 5 days we had been traveling across the country. I would definitely stay there again. If you do, go to El Agave nearby for amazing Mexican food.

Place is a dump should be condemned

Great facility!

Polite staff...clean and empty pool..an clean rooms!!

Beautiful rooms, nice and clean. Delicious breakfast choices! Pool was warm in the morning for my early swim. The beds were very comfortable! Lobby was a little noisy full of baseball families.

Clean room, nice pool and good breakfast

Superb

Quick check in. The room was very clean. Linens were fresh. Bathroom was clean and towels were stocked. Breakfast met expectations no complaints. Check out was a breeze.

No coffee pot or microwave but did have fridge. Dove products in bathroom, which could be better for price. Breakfast ok but not best I have had.

Loved the big breakfast!

Great place to stay ….very comfortable beds, very spacious room. I just wish there would’ve been a coffee maker in the room even though I know they have 24 hour coffee. It still would’ve been nice to have one in the room….. breakfast was excellent every single morning we stayed three nights very convenient to interstate 80 ….Excellent place to stay!

Did not eat breakfast at the hotel. Enjoyed the stay. Nothing unlikeable or disappointing.

Exceptional
