Comfort Inn & Suites Amarillo East

Clean room, breakfast was good. We enjoyed the pool and spa.

We arrived past 10pm and left by 6:30am the next day. Can’t say we really experienced all this place has to offer. The room was great! Small kitchenette—clean and the staff was lovely. The lobby had infused water which is nice especially after a long drive. We couldn’t the TV to work. We’re pretty tech savvy but could not figure this one out. The walls must be a little thin because we could hear the person next door us snoring. The continental breakfast was 10/10 (plain and blueberry waffles, cereal, eggs, sausage, toast, etc) and the lady running it was so nice, she let us access it about 5-7 min sooner than 6am. Overall, we’d stay here again!

Clean The bed was a low quality mattress that I did not enjoy. It was uncomfortable.

Not the best stay. The TV only worked about half the time, and the shower head sprayed water everywhere, which made the bathroom difficult to use. On top of that, I was charged a fee for my service animal, which was frustrating and disappointing. I expected better for the price I paid. Overall, the room had maintenance issues and the service did not meet expectations.

Location was great. Breakfast was amazing! Room was very spacious and accommodated all of us. Staff was friendly and courteous. The room and elevator could have been cleaner, as in drawers, mattress covers had blood or feces stains on them, and tops of cabinets. The pool flooring was coming apart and cut up my granddaughters' foot.

Convenient location and clean rooms. When we tried to check out, front desk staff was in the back with her child and didn’t come out. I just left my door keys on the front desk.

The staff were friendly. Though not very helpful. The room was atrocious. We were checked into an unfinished room. After it was finished the smell of mildew and dirty mop water began the discovery of potentially the worst room I have ever stayed in. Were told by staff that no management was available until Monday, the day we checked out. We traveled 9 hours and paid over $700 including incidentals. We could not afford to pay for a different hotel while waiting for a refund had we checked out right away. We discovered food, crumbs, and bodily fluid stains on subpar mattresses. There was blood all over the bathroom walls, the shower head was barely hanging on. Damaged walls, severely stained carpets and the smell again…. Just absolutely disgusting.

Our room was a little dark and 2 of the lamps didn’t work because of burned out bulbs. A simple fix.

Breakfast was awesome. Most hotel breakfasts are sub par but not at this Comfort Inn. Also, the lady who made the breakfast was super friendly and efficient.

Sofá bed falling apart also on the side of the bed some metal parts sticking out making it dangerous to walk and on top of it some sticky pads for little critters

The breakfast was outstanding, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the pool and hot tub were very relaxing. The pillows were not the greatest, a little small compared to what I am used to.

I walked into room 113 and the bed wasn’t made, there was trash still on tables a bathroom. I got transferred into a different room and that room toilet was stopped up.

Great room size for family of 5 having two queen beds and sofa bed. Clean place and everything working fine. I’ll definitely will consider this place for next time.

Room is smell weird. Microwave inside the room is dirty and smell. The sink hot water doesn’t work. And when we got to the property the lady in front desk insisting to charged us $46 for the pet fee eventho I showed her that in Expedia it’s showed $40 and we also confirmed this by calling the hotel before making the reservation. She say she can’t go lower than $46. Won’t stay there again upon our next visit.
