Adorable breakfast area and pretty good breakfast. Great price value, except $50 pet fee was significantly more than other hotels in same area ($15-$30). All in all, Sparks Hilton was a fantastic stay!

Let’s start with what was bad. Pool was not open on 4th of July week. Only one elevator was available for the entire motel. A/C was not working on the outer floors . Only one hand towel was in the room. Only one ice machine was working in the entire motel for all three floors. Breakfast sausage was way overcooked. And the real problem: we had a handicapped room on the third floor (which was really nice) but the elevator button would not call for the elevator!! We had to walk down to the second floor to send the elevator up to the third floor!! In case of a fire, I guess we had to roll my handicapped wife down the stairs!! Never will stay in another Hilton Spark! Next vacation trip I will use Sleep Inn or Drury Inn when in Amarillo!

Hair, dirt and grime everywhere. Stains going through comforters, sheets, and mattress protector (meaning it wasn’t changed between guests). Dead bedbugs behind headboard and even on the blanket. Thankfully there was no live ones. We were very diligent in looking. I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels, this is one of the worst ones I’ve ever stayed in.

Tub and toilet was dirty, but the front desk rep Cassandra was the best! She came and cleaned it for us! Breakfast was mediocre. I had to ask for more yougurt, not much to pick from.

I requested a room with two queen-size beds, but they gave me a room with a king-size bed, and there are three of us. I showed them my reservation, and they told me the mistake was Expedia's. Of the two elevators, one isn't working, and the other doesn't go to the third floor. At breakfast, the juice machine was empty, and there was no coffee or cream. There was no shampoo in the room, and there were cockroaches on the stairs between the second and third floors.
-
The rooms were not very clean, there was hair in the bathroom, hair on the carpet, and the pillows were dirty. One of the elevators was broken and the ice machines were broken on the 2nd/3rd floors, but the staff was very nice.

Not sure what was newly renovated or maybe it is still in process. At check in 1 elevator was not working, next morning neither elevator would come up to the 3rd floor. Air conditioning was broken in main lobby and was hot at check in and not very pleasant for the breakfast the next morning. Staff was friendly. Room appeared to be clean.

The supervisor changed the room from two queens to one king without ever emailing me. Yet, I was emailed by Spark giving me check in times. Why couldn't I be informed? Instead I show up at 9pm and am told tough luck... take the room or leave.

The best part of the stay here at the Spark Medical District Amarillo was the air conditioner iand the bed in our room. The rest of the experience was not what I would call good. Cold coffee, filthy floors, elevators that needed work.

clean; on route 66

The beds are comfortable and the bed sheets were clean. Seems like the place is falling apart, the floors were very sticky, ceilings dusty and paint coming off, furniture inside the room was dusty. Bath tub not very clean and we found 2 live cockroaches in the dining room...

Our stay was great. The room was clean. Breakfast was good. The location was within walking distance of restaurants. The front desk hostess, Melissa, exhibited extreme professionalism under duress by responding to the needs of the guests in the dining area and at the front desk. All the while maintaining a positive caring attitude. Definitely a person who needs a promotion.

Very clean, well maintained, comfortable beds. Safe for families with young children.

I took a bath and the water drained out quick

Quiet from motor vehicle's traffic Anytime a hotel ask for a deposit for being a 3-party customer leaves a horrible taste in my mouth! They claim they do a refund after they check the room for damages. They don’t make walk-in traffic pay a deposit. It’s a big ordeal to monitor your card

Tai at the front desk was exceptional. Shower a bit older and a bit slippery
-
Not bad. Will stay again if price is right. Breakfast wasn’t that great but ok. Typical hotel fare. Staff were super friendly and helpful.
-
It appears the hotel was going through a renovation period while we were there. Not too bad, but not perfect.

The young lady at the counter was awesome! Her kiosk was not working, so she took each individual group up to their rooms. Outstanding!!
