Super 8 by Wyndham Amarillo West

The attendant was very helpful. We had booked a room we thought had a sofa sleeper. He was very kind and switched us without any trouble. Neighborhood is a little ruff but the place is clean and nice. Breakfast was somewhat lacking but everyone was fed.

We had no fridge, the room smelled like cigarettes. Probably the worst Super 8 experience so far.

It was fine overall but we got there late and it was hard to find a parking spot.

Roaches in our room, and the next room we got moved to had no working A/C and the manager proceeded to argue a me and told me goodluck on a refund because I wouldn’t be getting it.

Enjoyed the time is a very spacious and cool room

Property was decent. Nothing fancy, but clean. Check in was quick and easy. Had no issues while I was there.

Breakfast was poor just enough to say breakfast but not up to Wyndham properties standards and breakfast closed at 9 not the normal 10

Thankfully, we were able to stay at the Holiday Inn after this hotel gave our room away. The staff told us that someone had already taken our room, even though we had a reservation. Most hotels in the area were sold out, so this created a very stressful situation during our road trip. In addition, the location felt sketchy and unsafe. I would not recommend staying here, especially if you are traveling on a road trip with family.

Will never return nor recommend this filthy place!! Dirty underwear left in bathroom! Roaches in the room! Manager yelled at me!! That’s all that needs to be said!!

The AC/fan was loud all night, tried to turn it off, didn't work.

It was clean They gave my reservation to another person so it took longer to check in when it was midnight already breakfast was not long enough and it was out and not refilled for a while

I accidentally booked a smoking room, no issue to change room $10 up charge, no problem. We checked in with 6 ppl on the reservation and were given 4 pillows. When we asked for 2 more pillows we were told they were already locked up and we have called at 7:00 am to let them know we needed extra pillows or been there at 3:00 when check in was. We explained we were just there the week before and checked in at almost 9:00 pm and it was no problem for extra pillows. She then says we will have to pay and extra $20 to get 2 pillows. No thank you!

Also, the out side for the hotel stinks SO bad of some type of PEE. other then that it was a good stay.

Staff was nice, room was ok.

The suite we got was great for its price and seemed it was pretty cleaned. We got there pretty late and very tired. The bed were comfortable and sheets looked cleaned. Didn’t like the breakfast was just simple. Waffles, 2 kind of cereal, milk, tea , coffee and toast.
