The location, the staff, the dj at the pool, the overall California vibe and the price were all top notch!

Closeness to Disney was excellent!

The decor is fun. The location is wonderful for getting to the parks. They have leaned into the mid century modern era that the hotel was built in and it really makes the hotel neat and fun. Drawbacks on this one were no free easily accessible coffee (they don't replenish it in the room) and no free wi-fi. Also no free parking. Pros would be location and clean cozy beds too.

We stayed at the hotel for a milestone birthday. We were greeted by staff in the parking lot and were not even in the hotel yet! Upon entry, the nice cold air, the bright colors and cleanliness of the lobby was very welcoming. The staff were all pleasant, especially Sierra. Thank you for being so kind upon check in and helpful with a delivery we had sent the hotel. We had a great experience at The Anaheim Hotel!

Staff on site are super helpful, unfortunately email communication is not so good. Rooms were lovely, grounds were well kept and clean. Bar and pool were great. Would I return or recommend this hotel? Absolutely !!

First of all we've stayed all across this area for our Disneyland trips. We usually have 6 to 7 people with us but this time it was just 2 kids and 2 adults who are spending 24 hours in the morning afternoon and evenings at the park. Two things are the most important when up against a trip like that. #1 a quiet room for getting good sleep. And #2 comfortable beds for the rest you're going to need . Beyond that are the next most important, cleanliness of the room shower and carpets and in our case a good working air conditioner. Anaheim checked all the boxes and even had food to order right on property and places on property to eat and stretch out with the little ones. The pool and hot tub were a welcoming sight as we ended our park day each evening. I've stayed at much fancier and more expensive hotels and this hotel rivals any of those with nailing the basics to a successful budget trip.

I loved the convenience of the Anaheim Hotel! Loaded with amenities, incredibly friendly and helpful staff, and can’t beat the proximity to Disneyland. The one negative for me was the AC; it was a smaller unit, placed in a corner right in front of a bed… as you can imagine, this did not help a whole lot even on full blast in the middle of a heatwave. I will say the renovations to the room were nice and it felt new, for a hotel that’s been around for a long time. I didn’t get to experience the pool, though the DJ brought the energy. Overall, would recommend as a convenient stay with plenty to do for Disney goers! Definitely has resort like vibes.

Bad

The smell of the lobby was so strong in smelling like chemicals that it made me ill. The room was fine-older and needs to be renovated.

the room was a handicap room so there was no tub. wife could not have a bath and the shower was made for wheelchair use. earwigs in bathroom in morning and a dead spider on floor by my bed in morning. must have been last room for expedia

Recommend candlewood suites which has better pet policies and shower/drain were working in very good condition/well maintained. Parking fee was waived and there were no surpise taxes like pet fee tax, CA tourism tax though am CA resident, etc.
