Room seemed clean when entering. Upon further inspection we realized it wasn’t all that clean. Room get

The rooms didn’t look like the Expedia pictures. The rugs and couch were stained, bathtub chipped. The lighting was poor. We could hardly see. Thankfully only stayed one night. The price was outrageous for the condition of the property. We paid $524 for one night!! It costs less to stay at a gorgeous, updated 4 or 5 star hotel than this less than 3 star hotel. They really need to update the entire hotel and get rid of all the stained furniture, not just in the rooms but in the lobby as well. I couldn’t wait to leave. I will never stay at another. A Marriott??? Really???

I've stayed at this property a lot over the last 15 years. It was excellent back then but not anymore - the lighting at the sink was poor, the deadbolt lock did not function, the water flow at the sink in the bathroom was extremely poor, and the overall look of the room showed a lot of wear and tear. Thankfully, the staff were excellent. I'd think twice before staying here.

The hotel located in midtown was very accessible from downtown. It was costly (as all hotels in anchorage are in the Summer!)

Left before breakfast!!

Broken shelf in shower. Coffee area not maintained.

They charged me twice and still did not get my money back.

There wasn’t anything we liked! It was almost 600 for one night! I had to be put in the hospital so it was just my husband. After being at the hospital for 12 hours he went to check in at 8 at night, he couldn’t hardly understand the clerk, they were running the vacuum right behind him the whole time! There where cig burns on the counters, the air conditioner was sooooo loud he couldn’t get sleep! Never again!

It was very nice spot . Thank you

The beds and pillows were comfortable, but unfortunately, there was too much light getting in through the window. In Alaska the should curtains should be the blackout type with the amount of daylight they have.

A decent place to sleep when visiting the greater Anchorage area. The hotel seemed relatively clean. Included parking. Coffee and a quick breakfast provided each day. Early check-in an hour before assigned time was an absolute no. Our stay was very basic with no frills (including a bottle of water). Had to ask for fresh towels for day 2. No daily cleaning automatically provided. Priced well above other Marriott SHS properties, but was commensurate with competitor Anchorage choices during the time we spent in the City.

Die to pet allergies , the no pet policy was key. Breakfast could have had bacon or sausage, but otherwise very nice hotel

Location is great. The rooms need some TLC. The AC units are too old and loud, the pillows are too rough. Some upgrades will be great

Nothing. To go away from this place. No hot water for shower. No tv working. Bad internet. super noise heater (we cannot sleep). Terrible, but terrible and disgasting breakfast in a dirty area. But the worst of all is the crew. This was the worst hotel staff I have ever met. If the hotel simply fired the entire staff, it would be better than it is now. People who are visibly there against their will, with absolutely no desire to be there.
