Aloft by Marriott Anchorage

New, Clean, Welcome packet, Free coffee & warm cookies at check inn. Friendly staff and very accommodating!

Rooms are cleaned every other day. On the second day housekeeping came at 9:30am while we were getting ready for the day. We asked that they return later. They never came. We also asked the front desk twice to have them come clean, they never came. We ended up going again to the front desk to get our own towels. Our room was located on the first floor right next to the entry door to the hallway so we got to hear everyone at all hours of the night coming and going. Breakfast was good, snacks at the front were very good as well. There are two Tesla wall chargers on 60A circuits so charging was great!

The bed, a little table nook like, tv on wall, that if you want to watch Netflix or something you had to use your own credentials. Absolutely ridiculous. The rooms had barn door slide on the bathroom. You could hear people slamming the doors and it would make me jump. I don’t know if I did come back- I might try winter. Then the tourists would be gone.

clean, room rooms and main floor all have a modern vibe and just enough amenities. Central location to most of Anchorage in minutes by car.

It is a pricey hotel room, that is really the only point.....you should get what you pay for.

Again, staff were very friendly but it looks like they overbooked. Room was very clean, so that was a plus.

Very clean and newer. They initially gave us a queen room, when we had ordered and were promised a king bed room. Also, the TV in the king bed room to which we were transferred did not work the entire 7 day period we stayed there. We mentioned it several days in a row., with no change. They even had a Marriott number with someone's name to call if there was an issue. No response received for a call made a week ago. Certainly, we didn't go on vacation to watch TV, but there were some world cup games on that I missed.

The front desk staff are the best. Particularly the overnight clerk who always has a biscuit for my dog. We will definitely be back.

Comfy beds, great outdoor seating area and pool, lots of space inside the rooms Not great soundproofing, and the walls/floor creak loudly at night. The Circle K across is a little sketchy so be careful what time of day you go in.
