Hyatt Place Anchorage Midtown

Run down, gross breakfast. Too many other options in midtown to make this a place we’d return.

Front desk person was very helpful. We arrived after 5:00 pm and not all of the rooms were available because they were short staffed. The rooms were very spacious but not well maintained. One of the cabinets in the kitchen had a door that had been broken. We reported it and they said they weren’t aware of the damage. Scary since they have our credit card on file in case of incidentals or damage. Carpet worn. Bedding wasn’t great but we were exhausted and slept well. Breakfast wasn’t served until 6 or 6:30 and our flights were at 5:00 so we weren’t able to try it. There was lots of space and the dining area looked clean.

Prices are very steep in Anchorage in the summer and we understand....however, the sheets were extremely thin....top sheet had cuts in the shape of an "L". I really expected to have better linens for Hyatt. The linens have long since seen better days, being extremely thin says they were thin from the start. Over $1,000.00 for 2 rooms one night...I think they could do a lot better.

The location was good. Breakfast was good. The room was huge and the space was awesome. The staff was very friendly. The carpet was stained as well as the couch and pillows. We had a reservation for 5 but there were only 3 towels in the room and we had to call for bedding for the sleeper sofa as well.

Nothing Room was dirty , beds awful , didn’t feel safe there , dirty cotton buds left there , under ware on tree outside the window .

Staff and breakfast were amazing. Beds comfortable. Only complaint is their housekeepers might be overworked or undertrained as the floor was not vacuumed and there was an old jelly stain on the wall. Bathroom was immaculate on the other hand and beds super comfy.

Spacious & comfortable rooms. The staff were very friendly & accommodating. Free shuttle to airport was great!

Short car ride from airport. In the midtown section. Heat/AC thermostat control not straightforward or easy to read, instructions should be printed. I was cold for a while.

We spent a lot of money on this room ($950+ for two nights) I feel like with that much money, everything should flow smoothly... It did not. We spent a lot of our time correcting these room issues. My friend that I traveled with suggested I join the rewards program, but I don't intend to stay at another Hyatt after this experience.

Not in an area that is close to much. Breakfast wasn’t very good. Transportation to and from airport was basically nonexistent. Pictures from website aren’t what you’re getting

Really liked the breakfast and the people are very accommodating but the cleaning staff both inside our room and out need to step it up. They're was a used diaper in our closet and puke outside the building on the way to our car.

Breakfast quality was terrible and not up to Hyatt Place standards. You will get a better breakfast at a Super 8. Stale, overcooked synthetic eggs with undercooked sausage and not much else. There are plenty of other hotel options in the area, so I would avoid this property.

Nice place to stay. We had a nice breakfast there every day. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We had an excellent experience. Staff was friendly, breakfast was yummy. Room was clean and bed comfortable.

Great service. Local family over occupy the pool on the weekends, great for buisness stay.

El hotel cuenta con una excelente localización, muy cerca de un Starbucks y de diversos servicios comerciales. El personal de recepción fue sumamente amable y atento durante nuestra estancia. Sin embargo, experimentamos algunos inconvenientes: nos asignaron una habitación adaptada para personas con movilidad reducida sin haberla solicitado, y el servicio de limpieza se realiza únicamente bajo petición previa. Respecto al desayuno, es bastante sencillo; lamentablemente, nuestro último día hubo desabastecimiento de alimentos básicos como huevos, patatas y salchichas.
