Nice place overall. Smallish rooms, but just fine for what we needed. Amazing staff!

The bedroom appeared clean Shared bathroom needed extra attention and smelled like mold. At one point I needed to ask the staff to fill the liquid soap which had been empty for over 24 hours

Had to stay because my flight was early the next day. Did the job just for that. Shared bathroom very dirty, no way to take a shower on that nasty floor. Lady at front desk not friendly at all.

My friend arrived at 1:30am, and was able to check in without issues. However, when I arrived, the attendant would not let me check in to the room, even though the reservation was in my name. He couldn’t even access the reservation system to see what room my travel partner checked in to (my travel partner was asleep and wasn’t answering his phone). I asked if he could call someone that could access the reservation system so I could check in, and was told I would have to wait until 10am when someone else arrived to check me in (check out time was 11am). After 30 hours of no sleep and travel, I didn’t have the energy to continue arguing my case with the attendant, and ended up just sleeping in my car in the parking lot. Very disappointing, considering I paid over $200/night for the room.

Place was disgusting had 3 nights reserved left after first night. I’ve stayed in a lot of not so great places this was the worst. Chair in the room looked like it had been peed on for years and never cleaned. I don’t mind cheap and clean. This was just cheap

Yes, its on a busy street. Yes, there is a shared kitchen/coffee station. Our room (102) was very clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable - I should have asked for an extra pillow (3 are on the bed). I actually liked the previous-poster's "cheap" comforter or it would be too hot. I appreciated the fan and a high window to let in fresh air (I noticed that was not an option for all rooms). No issues at check-in. Didn't experience any shady people as mentioned in previous posts. We were there for one night and wouldn't hesitate to stay longer. Do your research - this is not for folks who expect full amenities of a hotel.

Entire staff were great and very close to airport. Shops and restaurants close by in walking distance.

The room was cute. The place was clean. It was way over priced but that is Anchorage in the summer. When I arrived, there was a sign stating no alcohol in the rooms. I like a glass or two of wine at night. If this was the case, it should be stated on their site. When I asked why, a man in the lobby stated "because the Eskimos get too drunk" or something along those lines. I am Alaskan native. I found this very offensive. My daughter was with me to help me with my luggage. Staff asked for her ID. As she wasn't staying there, we declined to give her ID. Their reason offered was that anyone going into the rooms needed to show management ID. No. When my daughter was helping me with my luggage, staff said she needed to stay outside. We ignored the staff while my daughter took my heavy bag up the stairs. The facility felt like a sober living home. I don't begrudge anyone this but I wasn't checking into a sober living home, I was checking into the room I booked online and which cost over 200 a night. Bathroom was across the hall. Either be forthright with information, or educate staff to not treat clients as if they were getting ready to have a big drunken party. If I could have walked out at that time I would have. But there are no refunds. I had also messaged the site previously to request a room with en suite bathroom. That did not happen. Other than that, everyone else was nice.

Quirky with a point of view. Bed sheets felt clean Did not feel clean. Rugs in room and bathroom had seen a lot… shower had scum in drain. Area wasn’t a great part of Anchorage. Woman who checked us in was very distressed, was an odd and prolonged interaction that made us uncomfortable.

Clean but in kinda a sketchy neighborhood. We booked room to have a place to rest because we had all night flight .

Thank you staff for your hospitality! This was an interesting hotel with some rustic, Alaskan decor, but everything worked, the price of the room allowed me to visit my daughter for two days up in Alaska so I appreciate your staff being very accommodating. Yes there are shared bathrooms but hey, they’re clean and most people are very courteous. This is not a five star hotel. It is an experience that is unique and friendly. So please rate this property accordingly.

Wonderfully funky individual rooms, convenient location, good price, great staff.

It isn’t luxurious but perfectly fine considering the price. The staff was very nice and helpful.
