The AC didn't cool like I thought it should but it ended up keeping us quite comfortable considering the heat wave that was happening during our stay.
-
We decided on La Quinta because they had a pool and hot tub, but the hot tub was down for maintenance. The pool was amazing though.
-
It was close to most thinks in Appleton and pice was good. Rooms very old, not the cleanest , construction right next to hotel so made difficult to park in a truck, hot tub was out of order.
-
The pool was nice but the hotel is not maintained and the rooms are very run down. We had to ask for different sheets because they had stains. Stuff is out of order and the carpets are stained. The breakfast was ok.

The location was good. This property was in horrible physical condition. Not only was it extremely outdated, but it was torn up, wallpaper, torn off the walls all over the place. Outside weeds were growing in all of the evergreen boxes. Parking lot was in deplorable shape. This may have been a decent hotel in the 1980s, but it hasn’t seen a lick of investment since.

The parking lot was confusing because of the construction to Applebee’s. Initially thought the hotel was closed for business. I would definitely recorded bed better signage. Staff was friendly. We liked how close our room was to the side door. Hot tub is small but overall a good experience.
-
Honestly, nothing The hotel is in really bad shape. The window screens from the outside are often hanging off the building. Half of the building is in construction but it seems the whole thing just needs torn down. We did not feel safe there. Nothing about the exterior seemed inviting when we showing up at 9:00 pm. Ultimately, we choose not to stay due to the haggard nature of the building and the surrounding neighborhood. I was there with my sister.

Not Good

The room had an overall stall smoke and musty smell. All the furniture was very old and worn. We went to pull out the couch and the mattress was moldy and broken pull out. The carpet is all stained. The staff were very nice and tried to remedy the situation but it is hard to fix when everything is worn, outdated and not well kept. We were moved to a king bed and pull out couch for 5 people. The new room was also very worn and not well kept. Work out room was not well equipped nor was anything stocked. It has an open wall/ceiling space shared with the breakfast area. We didn’t even try the pool with the experience of the rest of the facilities.

Cons - everything else. For the price, I'd expect a more kept up and clean hotel.
-
Lots of construction going on.
-
It was great but looked forward to the hot tub and it was ice cold. Otherwise over great
-
Convenience to the Appleton International Airport Property is very old. The property is very large. It probably was a great place back in the day. One of the employees told my boyfriend that the place is falling apart.
-
Room was pretty clean and was set up very nice. The pool was closed and nothing was posted on the site. The breakfast area was not easy to find or easily acceptable despite the signs. You could not get through the courtyard to the breakfast area even with your room card except certain doors.
-
Very run down which I normally don't mind but this hotel had a chain link fence around half of it and a musty/moldy smell permeated the rooms. We booked it because it has a hot tub, which was broken. There were no sign indicating it was broken or being repaired but it was colder than the pool! .
-
Keep hot tub hot. When we were down swimming the hot tub was not hot
-
Tear it down build a new one.
-
The bed was comfortable, rooms ok size. Bathroom was very cheaply updated recently, but at least updated. Very dated, AC in the back row rooms where my room was, didn't work and they couldn't move me. Kitchenette had nothing to use to eat. No plates, utensils. Couch was saggy.
-
Convenance to the airport and town Bad customer service, no one asked about our stay and bed had a BAD sunk in area in the middle.
