Holiday Inn Ardmore I-35 by IHG

First the good. The A/C worked amazing and the hot water was fast and plentiful. The bad is a much longer list. Do not pay extra for the premium king corner room. It is the same size or smaller than just a king room. We were put in the wrong room at first so saw both. The bed was very hard and that is uncomfortable to me. The breakfast that they charge for is the same basic gross breakfast you get for free at most hotels. The halls felt like the heated was running and were very hot. Our room had bare minimum towels, toilet paper, and soap. We had to request more of all of them. The toiletries provided were of cheap poor quality and seemed watered down. The parking is not convenient at all and there are very few handicapped spots for those who may need them.

No shampoo or body wash in room. Breakfast not included.

Amazing property. Breakfast at the restaurant on property wasn't all that great, I will not book an "included breakfast" next time. But I will stay here again!

Nothing I specifically picked this hotel because it had a pool and a pawn check in. I told them that I was there to use the pool. They didn’t even realize at that time that the pool was closed and then they told me I could go walk across the whole parking lot to a different hotel and use their pool but it was quite a walk. They said it was their sister property. Why didn’t they just put me at that hotel then if their pool was broken and they waited till I went all the way to my room change clothes and came back down to tell me the pool was closed not when I checked in and said I intended to use the pool as soon as I got into my room how did they not know the pool was closed then then I left the hotel at 10 PM because I was so mad at the way they treated me. I didn’t even stay the night. I drove all the way back home to Dallas and when I called the manager the next day to tell her what had happened she had a bad attitude. It was a woman, and I will never stay at a Holiday Inn again ever.

We booked thru Expedia and breakfast was included, the check in check out process was quick and hassle free.

Very clean and comfortable room. Staff was very helpful. The breakfast buffet did not offer much other than your basic hotel buffet however the person in the restaurant did give us a destination not too far away for a great off the menu breakfast.
