Econo Lodge Metro

The hotel room I booked was reasonably priced, and the staff was pretty friendly. The room was clean and tidy. I am disabled and walk with a cane. Much to my surprise, I was booked for a room on the third floor, and the motel has NO ELEVATORS. I had to climb up a long staircase to get to my room, and then it was the furthest one away. The motel was full, and could not rebook me for a ground-level room until the next day. I don't recall seeing anything in the listing that warned me the rooms were not fully accessible. ... Also, the room service STINKS. I ordered fries and 2 cans of Coke, and they brought me fries and 2 cans of Sprite. I told them to return with the 2 cans of Coke I paid for, and no one ever came back!

Only 10 minutes from east falls metro in nice area that feels safe. Hotel ok looking a bit tired. Breakfast just cereal and bagel from lobby area. Although road nearby it was quiet and also did not hear other guests.

The breakfast was minimal. The location was good for catching the subway. A little run down. Was close to resturants.

The location The upkeep was terrible and it didn’t look safe. “Breakfast” was cereal, milk, and cold bagels. Our tv remote didn’t work and the front desk was not helpful.

Great value for money. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The room was clean and I felt safe during my stay. The location is very convenient, close to East Falls Church Metro station, which makes it easy to get into Washington, D.C. Free parking was a big plus, and the complimentary light breakfast was also appreciated. The facilities and overall interior are a bit dated and could use some updating, but everything was functional and clean.

The location I had booked a king room (I was never notified that this would happen, no one called me.. had I known, I would have chosen a different hotel)…. But when I went to check in, I was given a room with a full size double bed…. I was assigned room 204 but had to switch to 302 because the tv didn’t work. In room 302 it was unpleasant to find socks mixed with the towels. To top off the but experience, I found a cockroach and I had to kill it.. I reported these incidents at check out to the manager, and showed photos of the issues…

I live near the Lodge and my stay was brief for an early morning hospital procedure near this location. Photo was a bit deceiving and no elevators for the handicap .

Mattress and pillows.! Great -

At this price point and location, I was pleasantly surprised by the property and my room. My room was clean and odor-free, bed was comfortable, shower worked well, quiet at night. Amenities and breakfast corresponded with price point. Adequate parking, easy access to interstate. All in all, a good deal for one night.

A budget hotel however; very clean, friendly and helpful staff, and great location.

Bedbugs

The room was exceptionally clean and the staff extremely friendly. I did not have to use the amenities, but they were kind enough to have some continental breakfast items in the lobby area for those that could not go down the stairs. The only "eyesore" (if you want to call it such) was the shattered glass in the front door which took a couple days to repair. Other than that, I was pleasantly surprised and immensely pleased with my experience.
