Bridges Bay Resort

The only staff we encountered was the young lady at the front desk, she was in a hurry with us even when no other guests were nearby. We seemed just to bother her. The suite was somewhat clean, some pots and pans were dirty. The ceiling joints had obvious damage from water and were bowing outward. The bedroom is right off the entrance and the walls were pretty thin, so noise came in rather freely. We enjoyed our stay and had a good time.

Great Place to Stay!

I have stayed there 4-5 times. This last visit was the worst. They gave us room 315 knowing that there is banging in the wall from air in the pipes without telling us. I mentioned it to the clerk when we checked out and she said "Oh yeah, we know about that. or maintenance staff gave up trying to figure out how to fix it" I know that they are shutting down the water park for maintenance in November, but the safety tape and cone look shotty and still didn't stop a kid from almost going down the broken slide. The bed and housekeeping were great. But giving someone a crappy room without a discount is underhanded.

We assumed there was a hot tub available other than with the water park. So we were unable to use it during our stay

No complaints on the stay. Wish the buildings were marked a little better. I was confusing where we needed to go for check in.

Clean Room, easy check in.

On arrival we found the garbage in the room had not been emptied by housekeeping and the bar stools not cleaned (crumbs). Not a huge deal but makes you wonder what else was skipped but that was the only issue with cleanliness. We had a 2 bedroom condo and found it weird and somewhat challenging that there were no end tables for the couches, no coffee table, no dressers in the bedrooms and no closets in the bedrooms either. The only closet in the condo was a small closet in the bathroom (only 1 bathroom, single sink) and the closet had no closet rod to hang clothes, only 4 wire shelves. We managed to hang our clothes on the second bedroom bunk bed since we didn't need the bed for sleeping but if we had other people I guess we just leave our clothes hanging in the car. Had a great meal at the Waterfront restaurant and overall a great weekend in Okoboji.

Fast easy check-in, room was clean and comfortable. Loved the big deck overlooking the lake front. Would definitely recommend and will definitely stay again!!

Had such high hopes for this place since we stayed in November in a differnt building and had a wonderful place. This time around.. not so much. Upon arriving at 5pm (which is a ridiculous check in time) we went to throw some trash in the kitchen garbage to find it completely full and stunk so we took that out and replaced the garbage bag. Then to use the bathroom noticed a flosser and cap from razor on the floor and hardly any toilet paper (had to go purchase our own) then went to have a cocktail on the deck and no table, mind you every other deck had a table. The fridgerator looked like it had been hit with hail as there were many many dents. It is obvious this room was not cleaned. I guess for $285/night I expect more.

Horrible

One of the worst experiences ever. I booked this room through Expedia. Nine days before I was to be there, I realize I put the wrong date in. I tried to have the date moved, they said they can’t do that, I tried to get a refund and they said they cannot do that. They said I had to contact Expedia. I contacted Expedia and they said they cannot help me. So needless to say I lost out on hundreds of dollars. Even if I would’ve gotten protection on my trip, it still wouldn’t have worked. Talk about a racket in order to get people’s money. Nine days before my trip and I can’t get the date moved or get a refund. What kind of world do we live in? I’m about to say never use Expedia again.

The place was awesome except there was no microwave in the room. With most of the restaurants being closed down because they're only open seasonal you should at least consider that and have a microwave in the room. That is the only reason I didn't give five stars

The only thing missing for my trip to be excellent were the restaurants on the property, which in my opinion, the closing time is too early
