The breakfast selection for Sunday was very slim. It seemed like a lot of the options were not available on Sunday that had been available on Saturday. They ran out of most items and we were down for breakfast at 7:00 am so it wasn’t because we were late getting to breakfast.

Water in the shower was difficult to get warm

Was dirty stains on the carpet stains on the cover of the sofa bed. It had a binge smell to it whispered for breeze in there couldn’t shake the smell. I just kind of lingered there. Bathroom door did not close and secure so you could not lock it it could just be pushed open at any time as they didn’t lineup to even close iron was broken. Phone wouldn’t dial out amenities. Very lacking pull down and not listed on the website it’s summer for one of the plans was to use the hotel pool, which is why we chose a hotel over Airbnb or Vrbo staff seems to chat a lot more than working. Carpets were dirty. Waited for many things weren’t offered anything. They wait for you to ask for anything extra they never come by to offer anything or see if you need anything there’s no luck. You don’t feel like a guest just a customer. Body wash in the shower was near empty barely enough for three people. There were no trash bags in any of the cans ice machine was broken on our floor so we had to go to either third floor first floor to get ice. they left you one bag for the bucket and it was hard to find somebody to get a bag and there’s no way to clean the bucket in the room all in all lot of five stars I would give it one and a half. I appreciate being safe and waking up with a roof over my head outside of that the experience was far below average light years away from exceptional.

Room was small. Furniture was well worn and dated. Most modern hotels have USB charge ports but not here. The room was very quite and the shower was wonderful. Breakfast was good except the turkey sausage. Yuck.

I had read some prior comments about this property and have to say I found it very nice and clean , well maintained. Staff was great from check in going forward . Rooms were clean , quiet and comfortable. Kids enjoyed the pool and breakfast was adequate. Plenty of dining options close by

The price of the hotel for all you get No

Carpets in the dining area needed cleaning. Rooms were fair. Control of the air conditioner was good.

The room was quiet and the HVAC unit only went on when needed, which is better than some other hotels. The mattress however felt like it should have been replaced 40 years ago. It was not a comfortable sleep. The security latch on the door was broken and there was no do not disturb sign in the room and we had to ask for one. Breakfast was good, not a large selection but what they had tasted good. This time, they had cream for the coffee and it was delicious. All in all, compared to the other hotels in the area, we were satisfied with our stay.

Absolutely the worst Marriot stay ever. Business Center is circa 1990 IT equipment. No channels 1-6 including FOX, CW, ABC, NBC. Unbelievable!😡

The room was torn apart as if renovations were being performed prior to our arrival. Our 3 year was playing with air filters she found on the floor. (I immediately took them!) The microwave insides were literally on the table & not in the microwave. Our 3 year found trash in the drawers. (Again, took it from her.) The curtains were broken & hanging & we could NOT close them; therefore, our room was lit up at night. (My wife needs total darkness to sleep.) The towels were old & rough. The pool (indoor & newly renovated) was freezing cold! I attempted to return to our room from complaining at the front desk & my key card did not work! Luckily, my wife was in our room to let me in. We were scheduled for two nights. With everything we encountered, we left the next morning & did breakfast at IHop. (We could NOT afford another disappointment.) We did not enjoy our stay at all! This was our first time visiting Ashboro NC. Poor representation in our opinions.

Indoor pool not open - the only reason we booked that hotel

Hotel was good. Beds are old and uncomfortable.
-
Over all, the hotel was very nice. The staff were very friendly and as helpful as they could.
-
Very nice stay.
-
The carpet was tore up at the door, the sink had a hard time draining, the furniture was worn and dirty looking. Just needs a refresh

Everything was great, from the warm North Carolina greeting upon arriving, to the clean and well appointed room, to the breakfast the next morning.
