The whole place feels lovingly cared for, cozy, homey, and beautiful!

Quiet, within walking distance of town, nice pool

The garden was beautiful, and there was a pool on the property. From the reviews I expected to have a really nice stay here, it was my first time visiting Oregon so I wanted to treat myself to a really cute hotel. The first inn keeper I met was very nice, but he punched in the code to my room himself and there was no deadbolt or other way to secure the door other than the code. The second inn keeper asked me to 'move [my] car, this is private property' after I already checked in. He just assumed I wasn't supposed to be there, instead of asking if I had a reservation which made me feel unwelcome and I didn't feel safe to explore the town after that since I was on my own. I had a wonderful stay in Ashland at the Bard's Inn on my way home and got to see more of the town. Unfortunately this interaction was just the first thing that happened to me. Also I wanted to take a bath but it just kept draining even though I pushed the drain stopper down. It was also the most expensive accommodation I booked on my trip and I do not feel the value was there, the Bard's Inn was cheaper, larger, closer to the down town, and more professional.

Lovely property hidden in a quiet neighborhood, walking distance to downtown and Oregon Shakespeare Theatre. Could use a quieter bathroom fan but all else good!
-
The property is absolutely beautiful. Peaceful and calm. The room was very comfortable, and the grounds were absolutely gorgeous with the large garden.
-
Charming room in a lovely setting g with beautiful plants. Peaceful. All was good.

We were met by the owner who showed us to our room. I wish the weather had been a bit warmer to take advantage of the private patio we had. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. I use two towels and there were enough to accommodate that which doesn’t happen often.p It was a bit longer walk to the theaters than we expected. Lots of up and down

Charming inn conveniently located in walking distance of all that Ashland has to offer. Charmingly appointed in period furniture, yet comfortable and efficient bed and bathroom. Thoughtful and responsive hosts. Will come back again!
-
No breakfast provided, but did have a room available with microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, toaster and china and utensils. Bed was excellent. Large courtyard with tables. Had small pool that was a surprise. Shower head was not adjustable. Room was pretty small, but well arranged.
-
Great location, very clean and quaint.
-
Comfortable and close to downtown. Even though some reviews and the map say there is breakfast; there is none.
-
Close to town. Pleasant owner King mattress old and broken in. Thin walls causes you to hear the next room snorer quit loudly. Use of a very strong fabric detergent/softener that made the towels wreak of a strong scent combined with a plug-in "air freshener" that made the room's air overwhelming.
-
I really enjoyed my stay and wish it had been longer. Very quiet, comfortable room close to OSF and downtown.
-
I felt the place was super clean, well-appointed, and had good water pressure, and DEER in the yard! The deer were having lunch too, so we had lunch in the yard too while they hung out - very cool! Also, the location is perfect - an easy walk to the theaters and downtown - really delightful.
-
Pool heat was turned off. The small shared use kitchen toaster didn't work great.
-
Wonderful place! I had a huge, very private room, with a very comfortable bed and a well-kitted bathroom; an easy walk to downtown and the theaters. Recommended!
-
Loved the quiet in the garden and that we were walking distance to downtown.
-
Having a free EV charger was appreciated!
-
great walkable location to downtown Ashland. Cute balcony area. Lots of privacy. NA

They no longer serve breakfast, but the hospitality was great, bed was very comfortable, and nice outdoor seating in a garden area where we were visited by deer. It is in easy walking distance of downtown with excellent restaurants and the Shakespeare Festival theaters.
