Ashland Motel - Oregon

Close to downtown, next to Morning Glory, a great breakfast place. A little run down, no way 8 star rating. More like a 6

Scrupulously clean! No dresser or closet. Spartan.

They had a refrigerator and a microwave. The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning was very good. Parking was free and plentiful. The staff at check-in was not particularly welcoming or informative - just here's your key, check out is at 11:00 leave the key in the box. There was a list of fines by the door which kind of set the tone. I was there for the price, but it didn't have to be so stark and transactional. And why no ice-machine? That seemed unnecessary

Great location near the SOU campus featuring clean, convenient accommodations, helpful staff, and a few minor quirks. The rooms are spotless, the pool is great, and having laundry facilities is very convenient. However, the A/C is loud, the bathroom layout is quite tight, and the shower needs better lighting. Note that there is no ice machine or water refilling station, and the advertised "garden" is just a basic grassy area with trees which has a potential to become a peaceful garden for guests to use. Location-wise, it is tough to beat—right next door to The Morning Glory Cafe (Thursday–Monday) and just a short drive from local restaurants, Safeway, the Ashland Co-Op and downtown.

The motel is a very nice old school type motel. The room was very clean and comfortable. The only issue we had was with the upstairs guest who was quite noisy. This has nothing to do with the property but more how that guest was just moving things around. The noisy neighbor upstairs. We saw her checking out and it was only one person. From the noise all the time, it seemed a family was staying there.

Please read to the end. The facilities look not great in every way upon arrival. Don’t let that scare you. The rooms couldn’t be better. Comfortable beds. GREAT shower. SUPER clean. Perfect location for walking in snd out of OSF shows. Right next door to, by far, the best breakfast in town. Landscaping.

The rooms have been, very basically, remodeled. The beds and bed linens were good. There is absolutley no landscaping the the parking lot is depressing. The swimming pool was about as uninviting as I have ever seen.

Pool closes very early (8pm) but I was happy with the value of the stay. Also right next to a great breakfast place.

A great, clean hotel for a transit stay. Check-in and check-out were smooth and easy. The swimming pool closes after 8:00 PM, and the gate is locked.

Good location, fairly comfortable bed. Tight and small room, air conditioner was very loud, pool only open until 8pm.

My room was clean, comfortable and good sized. The pool was clean. Everything appeared freshly painted. Nice sized shower with good water pressure. It was quiet while I was there. The person who checked us in was friendly, however there was a bit of a language barrier. The property has no curb appeal. My room was located upstairs, no elevator. Dark in the shower area. The pool, while very clean, is in the middle of the parking lot, a few plants would be nice.

Super clean and the rooms have obviously been recently remodeled. Window AC unit that worked just fine as well as fridge and microwave in the room. Bed was comfortable and TV was mounted on the wall. It was cable only though and would have been nice if it was a smart TV. Great stay! None

It was safe, clean and affordable. Modern touches. Water pressure was lacking. No ice machine. Pool wasn't heated.
