Great little motel. Very clean and spacious rooms. My only complaint: Neither of the ice machines near my room were working (and there was no sign to indicate that, which would have been helpful -- if i'd know, I'd have gotten ice elsewhere).
-
Please fix the ice machine and open the lobby on the hours it claims on the door. Otherwise, we would come back.

Good overnight clean motel. Great location next to the university.

Nothing i No Breakfast. The room is not quiet at all, you can hear upper unit people talking or moving their furnitures. It is a very old motel. Not enough parking space in front motel..The bed is too old , it is too soft and you can hear the noise of the springs when u\you moving.

overall good value for money. +Pet friendly with lower fees than other places (tho' why they charge less for small dogs vs large...?!). clean room, decent bed (a little soft). Neighborhood is very quiet at night. Item to fix: fridge smelt moldy and was not cold - needs a good clean/replace. overall recommend

I appreciated the pet-friendly touches like bowls and a dog bed in the room.

This is an old motel with half hearted attempt at a remodel. Paper thin walls; cheap and worn furniture; smell of stale tobacco

Lovely updated motel with nice outdoor pool. Close to everything you need for your stay, groceries, restaurants, etc. I had a relaxing 4 nights there and will definitely come back again. Only issue I ran into was the refrigerator froze some of my food, even when it was set to the lowest temp. Other than that, really pleasant stay!

I cannot recommend this hotel.

Wonderfully clean room and they are slowly updating the property. It was nice to see new towels in my room this time versus last time I stayed. Happy to be able to use their wine opener since I forgot mine and they had basic items (ie utensils) available in the office. The previous management I had to go next door to the market and purchase one. I only stay one night as I pass through Ashland when I do our WA to CA runs.

room and grounds were reasonably clean. I happened to have an indoor air quality meter with me for forest fire smoke monitoring, and realized shortly into the evening that the CO2 in the room was over 2,200 PPM with the three of us. Room temperature with the A/C on was fine, but CO2 was into hazardous levels and uncomfortable. I opened up the bathroom window, but that was insufficient to bring in fresh air. Had to also open the front window and leave it open through the night, which improved CO2 to a still not ideal level of 1,200 PPM. However, with the front window open, it is possible for someone to easily reach inside to unlock and open the door from outside the room. Poor sleep was apparent for the three of us the next morning and high CO2 levels likely contributed. Room(s) need a means to securely and reliably bring fresh air into the room to avoid hazardous levels of CO2. A heat recovery ventilator or similar should be added to each room. Consult a mechanical engineer for options.

Room 103 needs a new mattress and air conditioner unit. Air conditioner sounds like a freight train coming out of the wall.

Great service from Gurpik (not sure I've spelled his name right...), who moved me to a ground-floor room so I could secure my bike overnight. The pool—small, but refreshing—was very nice after a long day's drive in hot summer temperatures. The pizza place right next door is also a nice "amenity," good pizza and beer. Had a good night's sleep after the family right over my room upstairs quieted down, lot of noise from running but did not go on too late. All in all, very good value for a place tp stop over in Ashland.

Great location and very clean. Sparsely furnished but sufficient. Reasonably priced and quiet. Ice makers didn't work. Bargain!
