Motel 6 Atascadero, CA

Needs to be more maintained.

This hotel was the nastiest place I have ever stepped foot inside! The room smelled beyond belief of cigarettes and smoke. The windows and shower had very obvious black mold growing on them!! There was a cigarette burn on the comforter and just so much dirty surfaces. I had to immediately leave and stay at another place without a refund, nor was an alternative room offered or any type of acknowledgement from the motel!! Also the pool was the worst possible shade of GREEN!

Comfortable Bed Updated Showers Great Lighting All around cleanliness! The only thing I had that they could do better with is the hot water in the shower. It took a little while for it to come on, but when it does, it’s decent.

For the price and the time of year (California Mid State Fair) you can't get any better. Staff was cool always had to clean towels. Room was perfect size for one person with the refrigerator and microwave. This is my third year in a road booking for those dates and rest assured I will be booking again. Come next Mid State Fair.

The room I stayed in was recently remodeled which is much nicer than the old Motel 6 rooms. I had plenty of power outlets on the night tables. The WiFi worked well with no issues. I had a fridge for my BEvERages. My dog was able to stay in the room with me. It was clean, safe, and quiet. The mattress was too firm, but that's everywhere. If had to travel to Atascadero again, I would stay here again.

Motel was under construction and we were not notified. Some rooms had lack of working amenities such as running water for the sink. Floors were sticky and not cleaned. When contacting the staff to address these issues, they either deflected or brushed off the request.

Our room was super clean and everything was in great working order. Beds were pretty comfortable. For a budget hotel, this place was in exceptionally good shape. Highly recommend.

Avoid this Motel 6. We had no air conditioning the entire stay while it was nearly 90°F outside. The bathroom electrical outlet didn't work, there was no working phone to reach the front desk, and no maintenance or manager was available to help. A basic, comfortable stay, at over $250.00, shouldn't include these kinds of problems. I would not stay here again or recommend it.

The hotel was ok. But the shower was so hot you couldn’t take a shower no adjustment just super hot. Was told they had problems with it before with other guest but never fixed!

The front office staff gave us a room that’s newly renovated. Everything went well but it needs more updating. With pool but not clean.

Front desk was amazing, upgraded our room to us and the room was newly renovated.

Room ac was broken, had to remove to a downgraded room, but no partial refund.
