Clean room. staff friendly, some rooms renovated and rest in middle of renovations. bed comfortable had a fridge and microwave and nice furniture landscaped grounds were well cared for. Ice machine worked in vending area My room was recently renovated but huge gap between door and frame which means rain is going to pour in and outside light shines through gaps. Door had big dents in middle. Have never seen the type of hardware used to prevent forced entry not sure it would truly work

Location and how close it was to food an gas The staff member who tried to convince me to just cancel my reservation because they didn’t want to do their job but the manager was perfect .but the lady running that office before the manager came showed she should not be in charge

I booked an inexpensive Motel 6 and had realistic expectations. Our upgraded room was okay for the price and the AC worked great, but there were several maintenance issues: nonworking USB ports and bedside light, damaged cabinetry and bathroom-door trim, and a security latch that was loose and pulling out of the frame. The cleaning-product smell on arrival was also overwhelming. The property appears to be actively renovating, but there is virtually no signage explaining it. Portions of the hotel look abandoned, with partially stripped doors and empty rooms, while construction materials are visible elsewhere. Some basic renovation signage would make a huge difference. My biggest problem was the response to a safety concern. I was a woman traveling alone with my teenage son. Three men we did not know had set up chairs essentially one door from our room with a case of Modelo and multiple 40-ounce beers. They were drinking there when we arrived around 4 p.m., still there when we left around 6, and still there when we returned around 9:45. They never approached or threatened us and weren't loud, but their setup obstructed the normal walkway enough that I crossed the lawn and went around them or stepped over a small retaining wall rather than walk through their gathering to reach our room. The room was very clean Everything's was brand new a few things need to be work on over all I enjoy my stay there Thanks motel 6 Team No cold water in the Bathroom shower or sink the toilet never fill up with water like I said a few things but I enjoy my stay there at the Atascadero Motel 6 Thanks

Friendly staff, clean room. Roller shade that really blacked out the room. Comfortable bed, firm but some padding. TV with cable channels I like. Quiet location. nothing, one of my best motel stays.

The beds were comfy, there were a few hairs in the shower from the previous people. Overall it was a good stay. The staff was really nice and helpful, especially Wendy! She was so nice and communicative! The door was a little hard to open when we were about to leave. There was hair, I guess like hair shavings from the people that stayed in the room before us in the shower. Other than that it was a nice room in a decent area.
