This is one of my favorite , always clean and love the upgrades. The staff is always so kind. Can’t wait to go back

The location is great just off the highway and the town has many dining spots.

Beautiful historic hotel with lots of personality. Nice size bathroom and generous size room with a bathtub. Minor complaint is the pillows need to be refreshed. Front desk staff are friendly and efficient. They have some gift items and tasty chocolate bars for sale. Easy to park right around the hotel.

It is a beautiful hotel. However, it is best to not stay on the freeway side of the hotel. Not because of the freeway noise but because of the bar/nightclub across the street.

Great location, great atmosphere

M first time in Atascadero. Very warm and helpful staff. The hotel has clearly been recently remodeled and everything feels new and very, very clean and ready for customers. The hotel has super-easy access from US101 and parking right across the street. I plan to stay at The Carlton again when I next visit!

What a splendid hotel!!! Gorgeous historic property with all the latest amenities. Every room is beautifully decorated, as is the lobby. Our room had a lovely private area on the patio. Staff was warm and welcoming and very helpful. Location is terrific - within walking distance to a variety of dining experiences. Wish we had stayed more than one night. Highly recommended!!!!!!!

The hotel has been beautifully restored, and our room was very spacious and well appointed. Can’t wait to come back when we’re in Atascadero.

Wonderful surprise!

Beautifully renovated hotel, rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The jacuzzi tub in the bathroom was great. We visited the Mabel restaurant/bar. Bartender was friendly and made great drinks . We had some appetizers and they were delicious. Evening check in staff was very welcoming. Everything is so pretty!

Gorgeous property and decorative design. Well kept and simply a wonderful stay.

This is a Marriott Bonvoy hotel. It's just changed hands in one description of the hotel. It said they had no amenities. They have all the amenities you need. There is no pool and the restaurant is not full service so there's no breakfast. We were gone at night so we didn't get to try Mabel's . the front desk Staff is excellent. The beds are very comfortable, but there is issues with the electricity and I think that's just because it's an older hotel. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Beautiful hotel walking distance to shops and restaurants

We come to this hotel during Mother’s Day Weekend. It is remodeled and staff is very helpful. Many restaurants to choose from. Not to far from the wineries of Paso Robles. Highly recommend it!

The hotel was lovely, however our room was not ready for us upon check in. We were given our keys and we went up to the room to find it was still in the process of being cleaned. There was another couple there who encountered this problem as well. We waited in the lobby a half hour for our room to be ready.
