Clarion Pointe Athens I-65

Our room fell short of spotless cleanliness and showed wear and tear. After several days the breakfast became monotonous. However, you’ll never find a more gracious and friendly staff.

Breakfast was above average. The coffee was excellent.

Kids loved the pool and the room was very nice.

Room was clean, pool was clean. A great stop on the way from indiana to gulf shores. Breakfast was good also

Pillows are a joke so recommend bring your own. I had to ask for pool towels after 2 days of them not stocking them. Every other hotel I have seen room service will still enter to replace trash, towels, etc, this one will not(there was no sign on the door and we were out). When we had to go to the service desk the female who was up there behaved like we were a nuisance. On our last night there I had to have them fix our room keys, because it closed both out early. The worst part of it all is she couldn't even bother to at least apologize for the inconvience. Overall I was not a fan of constantly having to chase someone down for amenities that should've been handled, and a situation that shouldn't have occurred just to feel like a bother.

Room was clean. Breakfast was nice. We didn't realize when we booked that there was no elevator; make sure you are prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs if you end up with an upstairs room.

Room was clean and plenty of room

We stayed at this motel last year on our way to Florida, right before they changed to Clarion Point. It was dirty and the tv didn't work then. We looked at the photos online for this year thinking the switch had made it better. The photos looked wonderful online. What a misrepresentation!! The rooms only had a new coat of paint and still were musty and damp. Desk girl not friendly at all. Never again.

Everything was excellent from check in to cleanliness of room and grounds. The staff was extremely helpful. The breakfast area was clean and food options were plentiful. I will stay here in the near future.

For the price, there was a hot breakfast, room was fairly spacious & clean. Staff were very friendly The bed was a standard size and not a queen

It was very clean and comfy. The staff was really nice and helpful.

The room was mostly clean besides a smashed bug on the ceiling. We did not use the pool but it looked clean and refreshing. We also did not have breakfast but did grab a cup of coffee. The breakfast looks like a typical Choice Hotels breakfast. The staff was ok not rude not personable just a person at work that wants to get their day done.

We were upgraded to a better room and location at the suggedgion of the staff at no extra cost because our original room was close to a noisy group.

Property is great and right off I-65. Breakfast was good. The TV and clock were difficult to figure out. Still never could set the clock to the proper time!

Our room was very clean and the bed comfortable. There was enough towels and soaps in the bathroom for us, and a good variety of choices, hot and cold, for breakfast.

All good, but the breakfast was over before 9:00 am.
