Very nice spot. Quiet area and great location.

My stay was uneventful. However, no one answers the phone at the front desk or the restaurant. Receipt not provided at checkout and had a $150.00 charge that was not explained. Had great difficulty obtaining a receipt and getting anyone to answer the phone. Front desk voicemail was full.

The building itself is beautiful, and the on-site restaurant was excellent. Overall, my husband and I enjoyed the atmosphere and had a pleasant stay. The only downside was the room layout, which felt a bit awkward. We were surprised by the open-concept bathroom, as it offered very little privacy. If we had traveled with our teenage daughter, the room configuration would not have worked for our family.

1. $25 for valet parking—self parking away from property. 2. No privacy bathrooms. Awkward for non-couples. 3. Scant breakfast options. There were two pastries available and coffee. They didn’t even have whole milk for my coffee! 4. Bathroom electrical outlet was under the sink. You have to crawl on hands and knees to plug in. Terrible for anyone, especially”mature” guests. 5. The rooms are not soundproof. We heard our neighbors talking, flushing, and laughing. 6. Next to a train track, the room shakes thru the night. 7. The housekeeping was not thorough. Beds made, towels refreshed, trash was left. I wanted to love it but there are so many awkward issues. The team needs to rethink implementation. The restaurant for dinner was nice.

Beautiful place!
-
Off the beaten path. Train ran outside continuously.
-
Excellent property. Clean, modern with a cute restaurant and bar.
-
Great place to stay and close to UGA’s campus.
-
Disappointed in the room and the in the shower. No privacy had a hard time with the outlets to use the outlet next to the sink to be able to use a curling iron had to be able to be plugged underneath the sink cabinet no ballet no luggage service to the room you had to get the card and load your own luggage and take it downstairs and then the valet service was a separate charge from the hotel service at the valet OK
-
Beautiful Valet charges separate and had to set up different t accounts and tip through Cash App

We really enjoyed our stay at The Rivet! The onsite restaurant was incredible and the staff were wonderful. The room was well appointed and the bed was so comfortable. If you’re a light sleeper request a room on the side of the hotel that is not next to the train tracks. Otherwise, I highly recommend it and would stay there again!
-
Note- light sleepers not ideal due to train - they provide earplugs and sound machine Didnt bother me though

Beautiful hotel with a great restaurant and bar, and a spa. The property was very clean and beautifully decorated. The one thing we didn’t love was the bathroom setup in the room. While the shower wasn’t totally visible from the beds because of the location of the sink, the shower is in an open area with a clear glass door so if you are traveling with anyone other than your significant other, it can be awkward! Overall, a beautiful property though.

I love hearing the train pass by when I'm here😊
-
Fantastic room and shower. Had room service and the chicken was amazing!
-
We loved our stay here. The property is gorgeous and the rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed.
-
This hotel is top notch. From the room to the restaurant. Just amazing.

No pool. No hot tub. No exercise facility. No ice machines. I loved the rooms and hotel itself. Front desk staff was amazing. Very friendly and accommodating when we needed ice in our cups or any housekeeping. Probably the best valet service I’ve ever used… fast, friendly and $25 per night. My daughter and I paid over $200 each for premium massages. Mine was eh. Nothing special and maybe less than special. Their “Spa” faculty consists of several rooms, a sitting area for 2 and a small locker room. Not impressed at all. The room itself was awesome. If you’ve ever stayed in a 1 Hotel, it was comparable. Very natural esthetic with great top quality shampoos, etc. hotel is next to a railroad track, but honestly I don’t recall hearing the train much and I was there 5 nights. They provide earplugs in the rooms and a white noise machine which was awesome. The walls are not well insulated. We could almost hear actual conversation next door. Unfortunately we won’t be back since they didn’t have a pool or exercise facility. We didn’t eat at their restaurant.

Room was spotless, and the staff was excellent.
