Good staff , clean relaxing property

Staff was cheerful and helpful.

The best thing about the Marriott is the close proximity to Truist Park and the shuttle to and from games. The hotel needs a refresh but the bathroom was adequate and the bed and pillows were comfortable and the elevator was never crowded. We did not eat at the restaurant. The shuttle will take you anywhere within 3 miles of the hotel and you call to have them pick you up. If you leave the ballpark at the let out time you may have to walk back to the hotel due to traffic, which is all downhill and only 0.5 miles. We always got something to eat after the game and called the shuttle later.

The breakfast came free with our room and was very good. We arrived early and were able to go ahead and check in which made all the difference in our plans that day and greatly appreciated. The hotel is showing some age in some areas, but is clean and comfortable.

How close it was to the event that I was attending. The icee machine on my floor was broke, and the staff just pretty much said go to another floor. The toilet was backed up so we had to use the bathroom in the lobby area because we were afraid the water would overflow. The staff said they couldn’t get in the housekeeping closet to get a plunger so they would get it the next day, well needless to say, we were leaving the next day.

To start your hotel is advertised to be airport close and your 30 miles away. Next your staff at every answer for help was "no". Next when I went to the first room, number 900, the key would not work. The second room was filthy and had a pile of dirt in the corner of the bathroom. You would not help me order a cab to catch my flight. I could go on and on.

Their rooms definitely show a lot of signs of aging and needing attention. The AC unit that was provided in our room was nowhere near effective in cooling the entire room beyond the small corner it was located. Room did not come with a refrigerator or microwave as amenities, so don’t plan on keeping leftovers or drink drinks cold. Bathroom was mostly clean, but there is no ventilation. The vent that was present as part of the shower wall allowed smells of our smoking room neighbors to pass through. Upon check-in, I wasn’t even requested to provide my photo ID, which was odd. It’s great for its proximity to Truist Park, but don’t go into this expecting anything beyond a very mediocre stay.

Location to ball park. No fridge in room.

Room was small and in need of major updating. Old tub with a an old shower curtain. No refrigerator or safe in the room. Furniture was old and worn. Hallways looked like an old hospital. Extremely disappointed in a Marriott property like this.

I had nothing but problems with my stay! First I went to check in and the man at the front desk couldn’t find my reservation for some reason even though I had a receipt from where I reserved the room. Then he told me the parking was complementary but on the reservation I had to pay $73 to park and he said he could not give it back to me since I already paid it. After we left I never received my security deposit back I have called the front desk and they say it has been sent but it hasn’t. After trying to get ahold of accounting and management i got nothing but voicemail. It also took us 20 minutes to even leave the property because they couldn’t get their gate to work. Will never stay at a Marriott again!

Hotel was clean but is an older property

Very clean and comfortable room. The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. Only complaint was the pool, water was murky and made it unusable, otherwise our stay was perfect. We would stay here again.

Breakfast was great and staff in The Marketplace were all kind and ready to help. The front desk staff could not have cared less to assist guests.

The hotel was super close to the stadium, it’s a really nice hotel, room was clean but it was a little dated, the doors stick quite a bit maybe update outlets in the rooms to ones with USB ports? Otherwise it was a great stay, if you are there for an event it is very close to everything

The host and wait staff at the breakfast buffet were friendly and attentive and the breakfast was delicious.
