This motel should be closed for renovation, not open to visitors. The lobby was filled with mattresses, room furniture, and lamp shades, the front desk had exposed wiring hanging from the ceiling, and of course the pool was empty. The floors were unswept in both the lobby and hallways, as was the elevator, which smelled of urine. My room had no towels upon arrival, the shower head was loose in its fixture, and the sink was partly torn apart, exposing the raw wood underneath. The toilet worked fine and the water in the shower, which worked, was adequate, and the bed was actually comfortable. There seemed to be only one employee, who was rarely available, even to the Expedia representative who tried to contact the motel to arrange for a refund for me. I found the one attendant (manager? owner?) to be less than helpful with the issues I brought to his attention.

Reviews on this property are misleading. I booked this hotel because it had over 1,000 reviews and a 4.8-star rating, but my experience was the complete opposite. This place felt more like a homeless shelter than a hotel. The hallways smelled like vomit, there was vomit in the elevator, and the floors looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in ages. People were screaming outside throughout the night, and others were sleeping in the parking lot, making the environment feel unsafe. The room itself was filthy. The bedsheets were dirty, the floor was dirty, and I couldn’t even find a clean place to set my luggage down. After driving nine hours to get there, I had to contact Expedia and check out in the middle of the night because the conditions were unacceptable. Instead of getting the rest I desperately needed, I had to search for another hotel. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I genuinely don’t understand how this property maintains such a high rating. I would not recommend staying here.

The hotel was under a remodel which is understanadable. We were greeted in the foyer by a mattress standing up against the wall. The lobby area was full of furniture stacked up; old furniture not new furniture. There was a bandaid in the tub drain. There was no soap of any kind in the room. One of the beds had a cigarette burn and ash on it. Each bed had one pillow the size of a throw pillow. After asking about additional "normal" size pillows a second time, we were given the key to a different room and told to get pillows off of that bed. Usually when a hotel is remodeled, storage containers are used for the furniture while upgrades are being done. This is an embarassement to the brand.

This hotel wasn’t a pleasant experience. The attendant was unhelpful and seemed disinterested in assisting. If you’re considering canceling your booking, don’t expect a refund they won’t offer one. I won’t be returning to this hotel, and I’d advise others to avoid it as well.

Upon arrival, I noticed the lobby had been changed into a construction area with tables, desks, and materials blocking what used to be the seating area. Throughout my stay, I had to walk through dust, wood chips, and construction debris just to enter and exit the hotel. My room had several issues. The TV did not work because there was no cable box, there was only one pillow per bed for a two-person reservation, and there were limited outlets. When I reported the TV issue, I was told, "You're not here to watch TV, you're here to be on vacation." I did not feel that was an appropriate response from hotel staff. I appreciate Expedia for helping address the situation, but I ultimately checked out at 3:00 a.m. because the conditions were uncomfortable. The only positives are the location and the fact that no deposit is required. However, the pictures and amenities advertised online do not match the current condition of the property. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and improves the guest experience.

The room was completely filthy\. There was dirt throughout the room, and to make matters worse, I found roaches inside the room, which made the stay unsanitary and extremely uncomfortable\. Cleanliness should be the bare minimum for any hotel, and this property failed miserably\. The staff was also incredibly rude and unprofessional\. Rather than addressing my concerns with courtesy or attempting to resolve the issues, they were dismissive and acted as though my complaints were an inconvenience\. To top it all off, many of the advertised amenities were either unavailable or not accommodated during my stay\. I paid expecting certain services and conveniences, but they were simply not provided\. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had\. Between the filthy conditions, roach infestation, rude staff, and failure to provide the promised amenities, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone\. Save your money and book somewhere that values cleanliness, customer service, and honesty
